  1. I took a bunch of pictures but I left my camera cord at home and won't be back until next week. I got a few good ones of the backup singers so I'll pass them along when i get home.

What a great show. My friends and I got in a little late so we didn't have a very good view but oh well. The sound got better and better throughout the night but started out a little muffled. Really fun show with a lot of great highlights.

    Thanks Wilco!

so glad you have pics!! i haven't been on VC in a while, but got to go up and sing CA stars with the band at Royal Oak. didn't bring my camera because of the terrifying "no cameras or your pictures will be destroyed" poster out front, and am so sad! i'll write more later, but this was probably my favorite wilco show i've been to (out of maybe 30) other than my first one. singing CA stars was awesome (i was the one with the "husky voice"...thanks jeff...) and playing jeff's guitar on Spiders was so cool. it's a night i'll never forget. so much love to everyone i saw at the show and the great new people i met last night!!

    i love GA shows.

  2. anyone have extras to this? i'm going out to LA for college the day before, and will be craving some comfort. Just realized this is when i'm leaving, if anyone has extras, please e-mail me: zqxpr643@hotmail.com or pm me

  3. Juice. Orange juice, cranberry-raspberry juice, pomegranate-blueberry juice, white grape juice, etc.

And onions. A world without onions is a world not worth living in.

i wish all those combos were legit fruits. i've been on a fruit binge...eating a lot of plums, apples, berries (rasp, blue, black, straw), pineapple. tried an apricot today...yummy numnums. i want a cran-raspberry hahaah. of a poma-blueberry. c'mon creepy scientists, make some interesting fusions! (i've had myself some nice grapples before...). don't even get me started on food in general though. mmmmhmm. (ps, onions rock the world)

  4. i was pleasantly surprised with how funny this was. i actually wasn't a huge shaun of the dead fan (i did laugh, but not the whole time...), but this was just so wacky and random i loved it. funny stuff.

read Still Life With Woodpecker over the summer and loved loved loved his quirky style...these short stories and articles he's written for various things are hilarious and i think it's so cool to see the way he writes in so many different contexts.

  6. A quiet Saturday night at home, watching some b-ball and playing some albums.

    Just finished:

alright guys, so basically i cannot thank everyone enough for just being the most wonderful, friendly, comforting people to be around and to celebrate this with. it was an honor to have it at my house, really a dream come true, so thanks you guys for making it so special for us all to experience and a great place to be. obviously jeff played amazingamazingamazingly and jen and chris rocked so much with their perfect impromptu harmonizing, and thanks for the support for jesus, etc. hahah. thanks Tom (criptique) for requesting and being excited...i know it could be better but i did what i could for playing with mr. tweedy in front of 30 friends/fans. you guys are the best, and thanks for everyone posting their pics, etc...really made my day to have such great memories to distract me hahah. still feeling a little nauseous on and off from the wacky sleep patterns/overall busy-ness and excitement of the weekend, but :dancing :dancing . i miss you all already!! i know sue and jeff had a wonderful time with all of us as they made clear and really appreciated what we did for the charity and just being fans. and also, johnny.....a little someone who adored your poster told me today that it was sent to jeff's management and they liked it and are asking for your info-- hope you don't mind that i passed that along ;) truely wonderful poster though, so impressive in detail and skill and an incredible keepsake for the night. these babies will be a hot commodity soon. miss and love you all, thanks for an amazing weekend none of us will forget...it's all you that made it so wonderful. gimme that recording, i'm in living room show withdrawl!! hahah just kidding, take your time and make it wonderful, thanks for working so hard with the set up and taking time out to come over early and have everything worked out and perfect...chandler and warner and chris, you guys rock. really looking forward to the results of your knowledge and talent!!

  10. just to hold everyone over a few minutes, i have a great one of jeff and jackson, but for some reason the attachment thing at the bottom won't attach it, so i need to find a place to host some of my pictures. it'll be up soon, as in tonight, along with an exciting ramble and a few more pics!!

  11. That looks like a violin. Good thing, because if that was a viola...

    Hah! I scoff at them.

    :pirate

Being nitpicky and all, she probably could hold her instrument a little higher. I hate saying it, mostly because I have the same problem, except 1000000000000000000000000000000x worse.

meh, i didn't know the notes and had them written on a sheet of paper, but had nowhere to put the paper, so i had to put it on a chair, hence, not looking at jeff and not holding the violin as high as usual. sorrrrryyyyy

  12. I think we had more Chris's than "nothin's" last night.

    And it was taped.

and more "sucky"s than nothings. i bet we had more funawesomeness than all of that? i miss you guys already, i woke up still jittery and excited, even though it was over. makes me sad but i can't tell you how much i needed that much fun...you guys are the best. i'll definitely be posting more when i realize what's happened.

  13. agree with TNT, it's still my favorite, though i started with s/t and it's all around you. i really respect them for having hit different and original styles on each album, and doing them all, as i see them, pretty dead on. i think they are such a great band. i would also recomment DMST (good call deaf ro), though i do think tortoise would be more accessible, and for some reason i tend to pile do make say think with another section of my music pretty separate from tortoise.

  14. I just got into a college in Portland (Lewis & Clark) and was considering going there, though i'm now going to Claremont, CA, but i still hope to make it out there soon. hopefully this summer with some friends. i've heard nothing but great things, and have been encouraged by many to check it out. you guys make it sound wonderful....

  15. after buying two new book last night, i realized i need to stop, because i have 18 lined up right now. eeek. i'm reading nine stories-j.d. salinger right now...definitely a quick read, good read, can read it during my few day break from school reading (which is the primary reason my book list is getting long). i bought The Soft Machine-William S. Burroughs, and A Confedary of Dunces- John Kennedy Toole (been excited about this one forever, i read neon bible like 1 1/2 years ago and loved it.)

  16. those are incredible! i've been waiting for these because i know someone who worked with you that day. His name's Dan, i don't know his last name, but he works at my school now as a photo assistant thing. he's kind of strange. but i'm so glad they turned out so well, definitely adding these to my collection (i just LOVE the blackand white close up, great portrait.)
