  1. Wondering if I could get some quick fantasy advice in here.

Would you go with Peyton Manning at home against Houston(in a game that has no playoff bearing at all for Indy), or with Derek Anderson at Cincinnati?

I'm leaning towards Anderson. Any input would be appreciated.

If the weather is OK in Cincy, go with Anderson. He lit them up last time they met.

  2. That's good - because once you have the means to get anything you want - it is a bit hard to let go of it.

    Say that.

And, having said that, looking for info on obtaining a waffle.fm invite or other means to register.

  3. And whistled. Yeah, Bird whistled during Spiders.

Amazing show. They just keep getting better.

The sound in the Fox was amazing from the 7th row. Clear and BIG.

    Highlights: PKB (thanks Bryan).

an amazing version of Via Chicago - Glenn was outstanding during the dark/disruptive/violent passages.

    the 2nd encore flat-out rocked.

being there with all 3 kids.

dinner with Wendy, Tom, Melissa, Aaron, Rachel and my sister, Carol and, visiting with Chris and Jen.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely a stander, even though the few rows in front of us were sitting through most of the 1st set.

I'm still pumped from Casino Queen.

  4. I'm curious why you think Obama is not ready? I relate corruption to experience in washington.

    I am Jimmy Carter gun-shy.

His was the first presidential campaign in which I was able to vote. I was excited about his positions and prospects as president. When his term completed, I felt set-up. How could all that promise result in such dismal failure?

I learned that positons, fresh attitude and enthusiasm do not foretell presidential potential. An ability to respond with swift strength to international and domestic eruptions is what marks a president. Positions and fresh attitude tend to get lost in the practicalities of running the world. Carter was not able to do this adequately. He had no "Washington" experience.

I fear Obama would face similar challenges and, with no durable Washington experience, "react" similarly.

I like Obama's positions, freshness and energy. I just don't think his moment has arrived . . . yet.

  5. Dude, please YSI me the drugs you are on if you think one presidential election will change what has always been true in America - that people with the money have the power. Hillary will be an improvement over what we have now. I like Obama, but I don't think he has a chance.

A VAST improvement. We'll have a president who can actually speak the language. Imagine!

Obama is not ready. He appears to be in way over his head.

Like it or not, Hillary is our only real choice.
