  1. Not good news. http://www.startribune.com/politics/167130965.html?clmob=y&c=n&refer=y
  2. "A dope ass beat" hahahaha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgeuM-MjBks&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  3. It did seem as though John may have been singing about someone....hmmmmm? Dude, I'm sorry but who the hell is Yoko!? I can't believe she's going in there critiquing the musicians playing! Ugh, no wonder the Beatles broke up. I wanted to slap through my iPad!
  4. I've mentioned in the past about being displeased when I'm at a show and the band/singer rants about politics. I wouldn't watch Bruce Springsteen play at Obamas inauguration but I would pay money for a ticket to go see him live. I find it a bit narrow minded to insinuate because of your political beliefs you can't enjoy music from those artists that don't think the same as you.
  5. Kevin, I politely disagree and stand behind ny earlier comments regarding "sloppy" Joe.
  6. It was a horrible thing to say. Imagine had the shoe been on the other foot! No one believes they want or are going to try to enslave anyone BUT listen to Joes tone....he is playing to a crowd that was easily half African American (so I've heard) he knew exactly what he was saying and doing. As a conservative with a fairly open mind as well as a long attraction to the Republican party, this pisses me off. We're painted as racists and bigots and that's a buncha horse shit. "....put YALL back in chains." that's pretty damn disgusting and a real low blow. Joe, why don't you tell us what you've do
  7. What's wrong with Joe Biden? Seriously, what a douche
  8. When I hear people talk about "disability check". Is that also a coming out of social security?
  9. Man I think that's a good question and I guess that's what it was intended for but I know a number of people who have drawn, already in their life, more money than they ever put in...
  10. Man I agree. It will NOT be around when we are supposed to get it. To think my money is going to pay for other people is crazy. My money should be in there for me. But I've already taken steps to account for social security's failure. It just doesn't make sense. The math isn't there. Pie in the sky the way it's currently set up.
  11. Other than his childhood in Indonesia, what was Obamas foreign policy exposure?
  12. The dollar not being backed by gold and the dollar being printed essentially out of thin air is a bit uncomfortable for me to think about. When you look at the mess that Europe is in......what insures we won't be as bad as Greece at some point. Something pretty drastic will have to take place for us to steer out of the direction we're headed.
  13. Man she is incredible! Whether or not her vocal style is your cup of tea, it is absolutely astonishing how she plays the harp. Anyone who is interested needs to get on you tube and check her out. There are some shity recordings so make sure it's good quality. You will not be disappointed (unless you've already made up your mind). Her lyrics are sometimes so vivid and then can twist and leave you wondering where the hell she went. The words she uses have sent me to Wikipedia more than once! Hahaha all of this and she's as cute as hell!! Check out "Sprout and the Bean", "The Book of Right On" an
  14. Who cares?! All I'm saying is its obvious when people say something unintentional the American public seem to be quick to look past it. Gaffes have been committed by all candidates and all presidents. I'm not sure why you insist on bringing up Palin.... She can't hurt you anymore. Hahaha
  15. Palin was never president much less mentioned and there are 50 freaking states!! How do you screw that up?
  16. Can any of Romneys gaffes match Obamas, "I've been to 57 states now....I think we have 1 more to go"? It's obvious the American people will let gaffes slide.
  17. I guess I would liked to have seen a greater improvement over the last 3 or so years and to be honest, the economic numbers always seem to be fudged one way or another, depending on which news source you research. (completely my perception)
  18. Like unemployment? I did not think cash for clunkers was very successful. Maybe I'm wrong.
