Is it true there is a budget surplus now? This is just what I've heard and not sure I believe much these days.

How has the economy been doing in WI since Walker was elected?

My wife and kids summoned me to the living room last night to watch it. It's funny because at the beginning I felt like I had heard the melody before but didn't think much of it. However, once it really started going and the people sang the lyrics.....the usual chill bumps ensued. I LoveThat Song!

I think that if Barry can use the quote, "above my pay grade" I think it's fair for all of us.

I had forgotten about his pledge to cut the deficit by half in his first term in office. That was an interesting clip. Thanks for sharing. I've never been a huge fan of change.

I prefer the term "white man". Thank you

Rob-Me? I don't get it..

My son was spoon fed Doc as a toddler. I'd like to think that's one of the big reasons he likes good music. To hear Doc sing "Keep On The Sunny Side" brings a smile to my face every time. Thank you, Arthel Lane "Doc" Watson. There's a snippet on the old Nitty Gritty Dirt Band "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" where Doc and Merle Travis meet for the first time. It's so cool how Doc tells Merle that he named his son after him. WOW

After watching and listening to Obama for almost 4 years it just seems like to me he has never stopped campaigning. Don't ask for facts because this is just how I feel. Kinda like he never really started leading. Other than the health care act, which i feel like he was so blinded by getting it through its kinda a shit of a health care reform now. Like someone said above, he'll start acting like a president who doesn't give a "F" and I think that he should have started that earlier. And I can't tell you where it would have been nice to see him act this way because I'm not in politics but I can

Chicagoans, age 35 and up: I Miss the Lounge Ax
Tweedling replied to PopTodd's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I never went but I go to my bootlegs of what I think are the last 2 nights. Love 'em so I'm sure I would have loved the Lounge. -
Now that is bad ass!

If you believe that automation of tellers, check out lines or robots in factories (all of which have been around for a long time) have accounted for a recent change in our economy and should be served with a council then I see how you would find his statements in line. I just thought he could have come up with a better example. Is this a controversy. I don't think so, I just thought it would be something to throw into this thread. What would I like for him to say? I think he should keep saying what he's been saying. And do you seriously wonder if I understood the article or are you just being

I read the full article. So now you shouldn't wonder. I see both points and I understand that this will not be the last statement said on either side that will be blown up. My point is I believe Obama could have come up with a better example than what he provided us within this interview. ATMs? Come on....

Come on Obama, you can do better than this. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/06/o-on-atms/

I thought he's been for it all along.

The country of West Virginia? Could anyone else keep from chuckling a little bit while reading this? It seemed like something from the onion.

Thought I'd grow old anticipating what the Beastie Boys had up their sleeves. " like a bun to the burger" Dave looks like a kid in a candy store!

this is almost too much. What a sad day. Last couple of days I have been playing HSC and wondered how he was doing and thought I needed to take my daughter and son to see them. That dream is dead. So much of my youth was spent emulating and dreaming of being the 4th B Boy. Wow! Damn

Health care companies love it because they are playing both sides of the fence. They have continued to aggressively deny surgeon and other HCP reimbursements while anxiously preparing for people to be required to pick up health insurance. Why wouldn't they love it? I don't know what the right formula would be but I personally would have liked a smaller bill. Maybe approach it a little slower and not like we were solving the crisis in one big swoop. It bugs me to think of Pelosi saying things like, "we have to pass it so we can see what's in it." I do know I would have liked to see people have

I'm not exactly campaigning for Romney. And I don't necessarily think Obama is the Antichrist. I do not like the health care reform in it's 1,900+ pages of glory. Im no fan of the redistribution of wealth rhetoric. If you want to know Mitts plans for the country I'm sure he's got something on the Internet explaining something.

I hope more and more people start to think that way.
