i live in south central so i won't be much help but i hear good things about silverlake. I think there are ok places in the apartments on wilshire maybe. P.S. I think I am making the exact opposite move as you at a similar yime. Los Angeles to Austin. I like your guys's music scene.

There was an article in paste magazine a few months back that had a quote from Jeff saying that besides Los Angeles, he was really dissapointed with the audiences from the West Coast solo tour last year, and wasn't that thrilled about touring the west coast with Wilco because of it. If I remember correctly, he hinted that they might just do a few dates in Los Angeles and focus on other parts of the country that don't get Wilco nearly as often.

Thanks! He still has it, imho.

well, how about this. I'll record part of the website stream tomorrow, and then call you and play it back over the phone. But you wont pick up. Not only because I don't have your number, but also because its not on. I don't really use my cell phone either though (The only time ive had it above vibrate is when I am expecting a call while im in the shower), and i definitely respect people that use them sparingly.

I called you from the wilco show last night because they were playing your favorite song...but you didn't pick up.

eh. I'd rather not read anything by him or about him or see his picture. I don't think he should become famous, but rather forgotten. I realize there are things to learn from his story and that he was a sad person who needed help, but in the end I think we would all be better served to have his name and person (but not the event or victims) forgotten, for two reasons. 1. You'll never be able to really make sense out of his actions, so what can we really learn? 2. It's dangerous that we AND the media make him into a anti-hero of sorts, giving hope to the next troubled kid out there tha

just being silly. Back on topic: I dug this tune alot, and definitely got a grateful dead vibe from him when i saw him perform at lollapalooza (could it have been because he covered a few of their songs? i don't know)

"It's become a pretty big problem as of late, and it's only a matter of time before a record label catches wind of it and puts the hammer down on this site and it's admins. We dont' allow it for Wilco, so it's unfair to allow it for other bands. So from now on, anyone who posts a link to a full commercial studio record will be given one warning, and after that, they will be suspended from this site. If you want to send someone a PM or email about where to find it? Fine, but no direct links, as it's gotten out of hand the last few months, and something needed to be done. If you want to po
