anodyne, no contest. I like Trace but probably not as much as A.M. Jay Farrar bores me when I listen to a whole album of his voice...
I agree. Whenever I listen to Trace I catch myself wishing Jeff would sing the next song, but I've never thought the reverse about AM or any other Wilco records.

Anodyne all the way. Then AM. Then Trace.

It's Bernie Geoffrion of the evil "Montreal Canadiens"

Good news! It's GA.

You know... Weezer was the first band I ever got REALLY into. I still believe if I didn't buy The Green Album, when I was 14, I wouldn't be into any of the music I am now. However, I much prefer Matt Sharp's music to Rivers Cuomo's. The Rentals' new song is better then any single Weezer has released since the 90s.
Also I think everyone should check out Matt Sharps solo album cause it's really good, mellow, folk.

I hear them days are mighty long up in Yellow Knife... mighty long!
-
Wilco or The Beatles.

Let's all cross our fingers and hope for GA. Pre-sale is on my 20th birthday, which has to be a good sign!!

Thought that episode was really good. Better then the first one, which I liked as well. I especially liked the "I need a 1983 Casio electronic guitar, set to mandolin" bit!
-
Thought it was pretty funny. I mean, it's not The Office but it's good.

The most important track number is the second last song. It is the climax of the album.
-
Yeah that's what I was most excited about when I moved here!
-
Are you going all the way from Lethbridge to Vancouver for Wilco?
-
Yes, I guess that makes more sense! Haha, thanks Judy.
Yarr, I'm excited. I think I'll head out first thing after class that afternoon. Can I expect to see any of you guys out there??
-
Oh sweet, thanks Dreamin'.
So does the Malkin Bowl have seats or is it kind of a free for all??
-
I'm Always In Love, ELT, and Nothing'severgonnastandinmyway were the first songs from Summerteeth I got into, and remain some of my favorites.
I have to admit though, I prefer the faster, rockier, version of I'm Always In Love, like in IATTBYH.

There is not one bad moment of XO. Every song on it is fantastic.

Booo! Orpheum!
Oh well, at least it's still on. Now I have to figure out how to get there.
Weeeee!

Nashville Moon is really good. Probably his best effort since "The Magnolia Electric Co".
-
September 25th. It leaked REALLY early.
-
What?!?! This happened before??
Way to break my heart, Wilco....
-
Where's the Malkin Bowl?
-
It's still TBA?
Maybe they're planning a second gig and they're trying to find a venue they can be at for two nights?!

People always seem to want Sam to go back to the lo-fi sound. I think doing that would be a big mistake, he made those 4-track demos cause all he had was a 4-track, doing it now would be gimmicky. However, I remember an Iron & Wine site I use to go to had an interview with Sam, where people e-mailed in questions and Sam answered them, and someone (I think it might have been me, actually) asked if he's ever going to release a box set of all his unreleased 4-track demos and he seemed interested in it... soo, here's hoping.
Anyways, this album has a great flow. I love how all the songs bleed into each other.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but this bugs the hell out of me. It's Elliott not Elliot!
