until they get signed to ?
I mean - does U2 and say, Britney Spears record on tape - I doubt it.
Maybe what I mean is- I would think the industry standard is not to use tape anymore - and I think we will see it disappear completely within the next ? of years.
Not true at all. Lots of "rock" bands record to tape still. And I guarantee you that a large majority of artists at least run the song through tape before the A/D conversion. There will NEVER be a day when everything in a studio is digital. The future will be a combination.

Why? Because they are both really good albums?MMT was recorded (and released in England) as an EP. In America they just through on some singles from that era.
EPs are not albums.

Doesn't Magical Mystery Tour count? And, wouldn't Let It Be come before Abbey Road, since it was recorded first? I always consider Abbey Road to be their last album. Maybe I am just assbackwards.

And I was just going by release date. Obviously The End --> Her Majesty is The Beatles grand farewell.
To those who mentionned the Beatles: please delete Magical Mystery Tour and Let It Be from the list. What's wrong with Let It Be? It's always been one of my favorites.

Holy shit I can't believe did with five Beatle albums.
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Sgt. Peppers
The White Album
Abbey Road
Let It Be
(Though you could pick any consecutive five)

Ack, I can't get over how good last nights episode was.
I really, really, hope they don't kill Charlie. Though apparently he's not returning next season. But who knows!

Does anyone remember when we did the VC top 100 albums? It was a while ago (years) but someone (I'm embarrased to say I don't know who) was in charge. What did we do? We put all our top tens together and that special someone ranked and filed them. Does anyone still have that list? Or know what the f*** I'm talkin' about?
No, but let's do it again!

My favorite off of AGIB, for sure.

I guess Locke isn't the hero after all. And I guess those 15 spoilers posted before are BS. How come that one guy didn't age at all? When exactly did the hostiles/others take over? Oh man, that episode didn't have as many answers as I hoped, instead, I have more questions.

Me too. Stephen King says it's Ryan's strongest album yet.

This song is the entire reason I started smoking pot.

The Foxtrot will always be my favorite (unless they top it!) but Being There is a close #2.

America! Fuck yeah!

I've never been able to get into this band. I guess I am a terrible Canadian! !

Sweet! This news pleases me.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not too worried about timing, I'll have a drummer, bass player, and a lead guitarist with me. Which adds to my nervousness. But it should be good. I've been playing for ages but haven't ever done anything with it.

I have to shot this video, and it's going to be my first performance singing in front of anyone, that's nerve racking enough, never mind the fact that it will be video taped. Anyways, performing an original song would be too much at once, so I am opting to do a cover of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's "My Home Is The Sea". To my ears, these chords sound pretty good, but I was wondering if someone else could double check. It's a fairly basic song but I really don't want to be playing the wrong chord. If anyone could confirm that these are correct and save me some stress, that'd be fantastic. Thanks!

I had always heard that Glenn played 100% of the drums on the album but he did re-record some of Ken's parts, as Ken had played them, hence why Ken is mentioned in the liner notes.

Hmm does anyone recall if, in one of the recent episodes, Juliet said that Claire was the fist woman to have a baby on the island?

And the 20 minute Helter Skelter.

29 was December 19, 2005... Making it well over a year ago.

McCartney is Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad all wrapped up in one as far as I'm concerned

What? It's been over a year since his last release. You crazy kids!

Anyone else think that maybe they're going all Narnia on us? I mean, first when Locke was carrying his dad's body on his back and it looked like the cross, now he's dead... will he rise three days later?
