Can any locals shed some light on the amphitheater? What's it like? Is there anywhere to eat/drink nearby? And if not, what areas would you suggest out of towners hit.

I don't think the Spring Standards are opening the Charlotte show. At least that name doesn't sound familiar. I'll check. I haven't seen them in almost 4 years!

Don't pay any attention to them. I have liked Bale since Empire of the Sun, too. Hell I even liked Newsies.

Has anybody been to any of the shows this past week? I'm going tonight so was wondering how the shows have been. I'm not too thrilled about 2 opening acts but I'll live.

Well I don't know where you live but here in the south, basket just means a sandwich with fries, chips, etc and usually a drink. You can have a grilled chicken sandwich basket, hot dog basket, bbq basket, ham sandwich basket, etc. Having said that, I still don't understand what point was trying to be made about people who eat such things and how it's relevant.

I thought a basket just meant fries and slaw or something. Is that a bad thing?
