Watched The Machinist last night. I had been putting it off because I had heard how horrible Christian Bale looked and he did. It was very frightening to watch but he was amazing in the movie.

I'm on the fence about the UK win over LSU. We really need UK to get a 2nd or even 3rd loss to help our chances in the SEC East. But it was cool to see LSU lose. Probably my least fave team in the SEC. Well other than UT. Can't believe my Gamecocks pulled off a win after that craptastic performance Sat. Had a good time in Chapel Hill. I am nervous about our lofty ranking, though.

Hey, can you get me a lock of Tim Riggins' hair? Thanks so much.
-
Oh come on. You didn't even enjoy the ending where you know who did you know what to you know who? That was the best part of the movie for me. I love seeing smug dicks get theirs.
-
For Friday night's episode, does anyone want to do an over/under on how many times Tim Riggins runs his fingers through his hair? Anyone?
-
Well damn.
-
Is he, really? I will have to add that movie to my netflix queue. Unless he dies. I don't want to see Tim Riggins die like that.
-
I watch solely for Tim Riggins. I love the way he says 'intense'.

Who else do you guys have on your schedule? We've still got UT, Florida, and Arkansas so I won't breathe until after those games. Chapel Hill fans (not to mention Kirk Herbstreit) are predicting an upset this weekend but I just don't see anyway SOS lets that happen. At least I hope not. That city won't know what hit them this weekend when about 20,000 Gamecock fans descend upon their fair city this weekend. I just hope if we win, SOS takes a pic of the team in front of the scoreboard like he did when he was coach of the Dookies.

Wait for it.....

Watched Half Nelson last night to see what all the Ryan Gosling hype was about it and he definitely lived up to it.
-
I almost cried when Jasper Brinkley went down during the LSU game. Then read an article in the local paper today about him and his surgery and how he's doing now and I almost cried again. But that's football (or life, really), I guess.
-
Dude I'm a Gamecock fan. All I know is disappointment so I feel ya. Sorry to hear about Thomas Brown.
-
Hey! Looks like you've changed your name. That UT loss was definitely brutal. I was pulling for you guys, though. Can't stand fat Phil.

Just started watching the Season 1 dvd's over the last month or so and now I'm hooked. Wasn't too thrilled with the murder plot in the first ep of this season, though. Hopefully it's going somewhere unexpected.

I think it's safe to say that my Gamecocks are the real USC this year. (j/k) SEC-E is the real deal this year, though. Five top 25 teams this week.

I think Letterman just said Son Volts coming on

Crap, I forgot about this. Guess i'll try You Tube. -
Anybody been to the Visulite Theater in Charlotte? I'll be seeing SV there and none of my crowd have been. I imagine it would be somewhat like the Orange Peel, tho.
-
If I recall correctly, at the Feb 2005 show at Ovens Jeff mentioned something about the huge space between the stage and the first row of seats. I think he tried to get people to stand in the pit. I could be remembering wrong tho, my memory is bad.
-
I was offered Row T or something like that but declined the seats. I figure I'll have better luck on Ticketmaster.
-
It didn't when I saw Wilco there back in 2005.
-
shutout? (put all the ticket/pre-sale madness stuff in here)

It's just the presale. We have no idea actually how many tix went on sale. From the looks of it, not too many. -
Shut out for Charlotte by 10:04. Looks like I'm trying ticketmaster on Friday.
-
JUN-20 CHARLOTTE, NC OVENS AUDITORIUM tba I'll be there! Son Volt in May and Wilco in June. It's shaping up to be a decent summer.

I knew that ignore function would come in handy one day.
