  1. this'll be cool to hear live if they drop it. Which I'm sure they will.
  2. HighFives

    being there

first wilco record I ever heard and I didn't buy any other wilco albums for about 5 months because I thought there was no way they could be any better than being there and I didn't want to be let down.
  3. I heard about Oldham's track going to be on this. Its the same as Pussyfooting from the Agnes Queen of Sorrow single. I'm stoked to hear what Jim O'Rourke will be doing with this track. I loved his cover of Venus In Furs by VU. this looks good.
  4. right they are both great. (beehives and feel good lost) but they wouldn't be good starting points.
  5. either you forgot it in people or the s/t the other two are mostly instrumental. and not nearly as good.
  6. that star man cover is better than the original. but that might be just because I hate david bowie Now I'm listening to -
  7. yeah I agree with you there but I was just saying they are still out there but obviously not as present as say 25 - 30 years ago.

  9. last I checked they did.
  10. Growing - Soul of the Rainbow and the Harmony of Light
  11. I like the "rythm" one best.
  12. yeah that's why I said "the regulare demos" and not engineer demos. no biggy tho. and yankee fox this version was posted on wilcos website a while back for a free download. that is the origin of it.
  13. I think that as well. a couple of my friends are going on a trip to europe May 19th so one of them is gonna look for it and mail it to me while he is there.
  14. Pillow Wand w/ Thurston Moore is super good. you should get that if you come acrossed it.
  15. thats what it is... I think a tiny bit of acoustic guitar but its mostly just piano and vocals. at least the piano is much more present than the guitar. it might be called rythm tho and maybe that's where you are confused?
  16. the one on the regulare YHF demos is just jeff and jay. that's pretty stripped down.
  17. there aren't any. I wouldn't really classify the wilco book as demos either but its as close as we have. at least for now.
  18. http://www.etree.org/mkw.html try this for your shn conversions its pretty easy. also there is another version of cars that was on wilco web a while ago but I don't have it. hopefully a kind soul will post that for the both of us.
