I am assuming you are doing "a bit" and being sarcastic - but I was speaking for myself. I am quite content with the rabbit ears - except they don't pick up PBS well and I love the show Frontline. I watch it online these days. I loved having cable. I love watching political talking heads, mucho baseball, even some VH-1 reality shows. I was hesitant to cancel it, but we did because of budget issues. We signed on for a year at a dirt cheap rate and canceled when it was almost tripled. I am surprised at how much I like not having it. That's all I was saying.

I tried Graham's safety razor on my legs last night - I have never had such ease shaving my legs. I am sold.

I walk/or ride the bus past them almost everyday......they are a treasure. However, my favorite Chicago building is the Hancock Building - no idea why - and after a number of years of wanting to, I finally had lunch at the top of it the other day! It was fantastic. I had table next to a window facing north, so I had a view of the lake and the city. The time of day was perfect as well, as the sun cast a great shadow of the building onto the lake.

yeah, once you sign on the dotted line, you are pretty much stuck. I really despise these long term contracts. One year I understand - but 18-24 months? Pretty silly. Especially since the tech market is constantly changing and upgrading, and making what you sign for today a lot cheaper in a year.....this is, of course, why they rope you in. blah. I am really happy we got rid of our cable......I can honestly say the quality of my home life has improved.

you signed a contract? good luck.

it's amazing what one will do when they have milk crates for chairs

I have to say that since Graham has started using the old fashioned safety razors, his face has never been smoother and softer. Oh and that soap smells SO GOOD!

it's amazing what one will do when one is hungry.....though beware of things with mayo in dumpsters. In other words, don't risk it......bad bad things can happen.
-
yeah, pretty much.

I particularly like the part in the article where he says homelessness is virtually over. I wonder if the woman I pass every morning, sleeping on the sidewalk, is aware of this yet. She should watch more Fox News.

don't worry - everything's okay - here, have a cookie - don't listen to this thread - they hate America Here's the "real" scoop http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,309320,00.html
