i'm not sure if this was something i did, but i put songs on my nano via winamp & itunes didn't recognize them but once i unplugged my nano, they were there.

the newest winamp has portable device support. my t-mobile dash even shows up!

i've quit using iTunes. i sold my 60g iPod, bought an 8g nano & now use winamp. iTunes pissed me off so much.
