You should wait until the current RTT closes before you try and start a new one, tugmoose.

Just wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on where to go/ what to do/ places to eat/ things to see while I'm in Iceland between thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll be there(hopefully) for a research project and I suspect that will take up most of my time, but I'll need things to do in the freetime I will have. Thanks in advance.

I imagine Michigan fans will care quite a lot if it has national title repercussions. As for OSU winning or losing, there's a pretty strong probability that one or the other will happen. You obviously haven't spent much time in Michigan.
Yes, U-M loves to crush Sparty. They love to crush the Irish even more. But the OSU game is the one everyone looks forward to each year.
As an alumni of the University of Michigan, I must go on record to say that OSU matters exponentially more than MSU. It's not close, it's never been close, it never will be close. I have no idea where anyone would get the impression that MSU matters more, except maybe from a Spartan.I believe this was just a nasty rumor circulated by UM fans during the not-so-good-with-the-winning-against-Michigan Cooper years in Columbus, to get under teh skin of OSU fans. And it worked (now we really hate Michigan. ). But if ever the rivalry became downplayed on the UM side, I think the Bucks have got their attention again after the last few years. So yeah, the possibilty of those two teams being undefeated when they meet in November, its a pretty big deal. For anybody who doesn't believe it when they say stuff like this on ESPN, that game REALLY WILL be a bigger deal to fans than the national championship game.I dunno about the shootings, but burning couches are a pretty good bet. Not that I'm condoning it or anything, but.......aw, hell, who doesn't like to burn some furniture in the middle of the street, occasionally??
OSU has always been a bigger deal to us than MSU. The in-state rivalry doesn't really matter. Even if Michigan losses a game to MSU we still "own" the state. One game isn't going to change the 66-28-5 all-time series. The OSU game determines the Big Ten title more times than not.Oh. Okay. And you're right. Never been to Michigan. And I really dislike OSU football. Just thought I'd ask some folks who knew better than I. Thanks for clearing this up.

If Florida had run the table, I don't see how they wouldn't have been in the BCS title game against Ohio State or Michigan.
That's gonna be scary if OSU and Michigan are both undefeated when they play. I could see people getting shot over that contest.
Does Michigan/Michigan fans really even care about this game? I was under the impression that the bigger rivalry for them was Mich. St. To me, it seems like the only people who care about this rivalry are OSU/fans and U-M fans that like in ohio....
oh and someone getting shot....definitely possible if OSU wins or loses.
I can almost gar-un-tee burning couches, over-turned and burning cars and general chaos in the campus area.

I once had a vanilla porter. It was awful. My friends thought so too.

whenever I 've had to do this, a popular topic is how to prepare a favorite food. you pre-make a bunch of it for your class and then give it to them when you're all done. Assuming you like your classmates....other than that, I'd say the aforementioned topic is a good one.

I read (watched) the news tonight and 2bob's football team was there! Though not in a good way...
Hope the fights didn't make it back to campus and that he's alright.

As far as spanking in school, damn that's a thread in itself. And probably one that shouldn't be talked about here..that could get ugly,no?
I had a teacher in high school who liked to (jokingly) say that it's only corporal punishment if the classroom door's open...
I think I was only spanked once. Otherwise, I was sent to my room, had privilages revoked, etc. Really, I don't like to see people get upset, so if I ever made my parents angry, I was already besdie myself, simply because they were in a bad mood, being scared of what was to come was secondary...

I used to be Big-Bank Hank. Sorry, I never come in here, but all that talk of vomit and a kids face violently hitting the ground made me post.
I assume that's what you meant by who am I? As opposed to just a statement about who am I to say the skull-cap provided no protection.
Hi!
In other news, Bazooka Joe t-shirts are on their way!

Thanks for your hard work.
