The only reason to know what pedals Jeff uses is to start a Wilco coverband.

Best thing to do is read a few good books and don't fret the inspiration p(art).If you do the research you'll find that alot of awesome songwriters don't think that songwriting depends on waiting for the muse,more along the lines of work and being open to everything.

It doen't look like they were installed.I think i might need to find my disc that came with the mac.Can you add effects to the instruments once some tracks have been laid down? Thanks for the help!

I've been recording with Garageband but i can't seem to find any drum loops or drum backing tracks.Can anyone on here help me and maybe send me some loops or drum backing tracks? Any help would be appreciated! -Andrew

I love it when morons say that Billy is a talentless hack.The sorry truth is that cd's are not selling like they once did and artists have to find other ways of music distribution,as music is a business too.If you look at wilco's track record and compare it to smashing pumpkins,you'll see that SP have sold about 23 million more records than Wilco.Not an easy task for any band.Give credit where credit is due and Billy deserves some respect even if you don't like or appreciate his music and talent.

I just went and bought a Zoom H2 and i was wondering if anyone else on the board uses one.Im mainly using it to record acoustic demos/idea's and whatnot.If anyone one is familiar with the zoom on the board,what are some good settings for just voice and acoustic/ distance away from mic.Thanks for any help!

I need all the help i can get here.Im doing a essay on the perfect three-minute pop song.I would like to get everyones opinion on what songs you think are the perfect three-minute pop songs.I know everyone from oasis,greenday to nirvana have mastered this format and many other bands in the history of rock.My paper is due dec.02 and i would like to include at least 50 perfect three-minute pop songs(no more than 4min songs)...Thanks in advance for any insight.

There is no comparing jeff to john lennon! As much as i love wilco and jeff tweedy,he cannot even come close to lennon.Lennon was one in a million.He captured his era unlike anyone else,whereas jeff has not even came close to it.Wilco is just a good rock band and that is all.Lennon and the beatles represented their times perfectly.

I guess you've never seen Jimmy Chamberlin from the Smashing Pumpkins! Chamberlin is easily one of the top 5 drummers in the world.I love Glenn and the work he does with wilco, and i mean no disrespect, but chamberlin has got him beat by a long shot.Chamberlin use to be a jazz drummer before he joined the pumpkins and one can easily tell by his skills.This made me laugh.

He also did an interview around the time of YHF but i cant remember what issue it was in?????
