Sky blue sky sounds nothing like the beatles! has more in common with charles wright and bill fay than beatles.

I love how fans will always say that the band made a GREAT record even if it's not a great record nor the bands best record.Not every new release will be a great record.It's not a bad record but it's not their strongest record either.

Rehab/sober/clarity

Very mature sounding.What threw me off is the typical song structures.Im use to listening to YHF with the abnormal structures.Heavily influenced by old stax recordings.soul and R&B.Alot more calm than i expected.probably my least favorite wilco record yet but good nonetheless.

I retract my statements about the new songs.After having listened to them about 100 times each they are growing on me.I think wilco sound more mature now,if that's the right word.Kind of like finally wearing in a new pair of shoes...Im diggin the new sound.Cant wait to hear the new album.

these tunings are very important when playing wilco songs,at least if you want to do them the right way.

Sorry fellow wilco lovers...i thought i would be a nice guy and post the bill fay record being that it is fairly hard to come by... but being the way the world is it was taken down.i know how much that sucks and how much authority figures blow! It seems that in this life at least no matter what you do there is always someone close behind cutting you down or trying to fuck your plan up...sometimes i just want to fucking scream!
