  1. Hasn't he said he is committed to ending the war in Iraq? What makes you think he is deciding not to now?

Basically because no plan to end the war has been floated that makes sense, and high ranking military officials

don't agree with a simple pull out strategy. The idea that we're not going to be there for a long time to come

is so utterly fucking ridiculous it discredits intelligent and thought out positions by otherwise sane people. It's a

mess. The democrats helped get us there. And we, the people, are going to be screwed over by those decisions

    for a long long time.

  2. this is some rough shit.

I want my life to end. I am tired of f@#$ing up everything. I am tired of people always telling me that they do not like me. I am tired of trying to be decent. I hope that someone finds this post and I hope that my parents know that I f@#$ed up not them. It is my fault I screwed up my own life. The hate that rages within me' date=' rages not for those I love so dearly or those who have crossed my path. This hate rages full force towards me and only me.

I have long forgiven those who've hurt me, but I have not and cannot come to terms to forgive myself for the things I have done to myself, and the things I've done to hurt those in my life.

  3. I'm really not clear what your point is. We're competing with an Asian market who does it cheaper and better. Precedent in this country indicates that mfging will continue to move to countries where it's ever cheaper to mfg.

  4. What, they don't have environmental restrictions or pay fair wages in Japan? Well, they do have universal healthcare--that's got to be the major difference. Plus, a lot of the Japanese cars are made here.

The US automakers are not competing against third world countries.

My point was really speaking to the fact that we gave up on manufacturing along time ago, and the damage is done. If you did your research

you'd see that yes, Japan, Korea and other Asian countries don't have the same environmental restrictions we have here, and that the manufacturing

and labor are, as a whole, cheaper there. If you don't think our cars are eventually coming from third world countries you're simply delusional. But wtf do I know? I just saw the countries lsargest mfg industry go offshore.
