Happy Birthday, A-man.

Pretty much exactly where I landed on the subject, though I don't think I've listened to Wilco since last spring. Still, for me, it was a marked improvement from that previous album.

I recently bought shure SE310s off Ebay and am amazed by the sound quality and comfort. They also pretty much block out all background noise.

This is the best book I've read in a long time. It's hauntingly honest. A one sitting book. A kick in the emotional nuts.

If jints could pull off the upset it would be a historic victory. They'd be chipping statues of Eli, and Shockey and Tikki can both finally and completely fuck themselves. This could also easily turn into a painful affair.

part of the problem is that the government subsidizes the industry that makes possible all the cheap nutritionally inadequate foods (corn and soy production). if real food was as affordable people might be inclined to make better health choices.

Spawn developed some pretty bad eating habits over his few moons. Most of those courtesy of him mom, though given my activity level I can be fairly lenient with my diet at times. It took a great deal of reeducation, some bribery and a lot of will power on his part to turn that around. In the last six months he's lost a great deal of weight, and looks better and feels better about himself. Inferior food is easy to come by, easy to prepare. It tends to have flavors that appeal to our palettes. Lots of sweet. And salty. mmm. salty.
