my parents were at this show, my mom asks me if every song on the radio is hootie and the blowfish and knows nothing about music but thought the show was beautiful sounding and really enjoyed the music, the banter, atmosphere, she still appreciated how great of a show it was - so i think the obscureness worked if for nothing else because of jeff. I cant bring myself to say a negative thing about this show, all around perfect

I was looking for a recording of Immigrant song by Jeff or the whole band.. Does anyone have it?? I saw Jeff played it solo recently but I'm pretty sure I saw the whole band played it at some point also which led to the idea of... lets all post a track, the majority may have it but I think we'll all find something interesting, maybe even a new favorite..

Incredible show, solo versions of Jesus, Etc., You Are My Face. Overwhelmingly good show. hope we got a really good recording

that muskies is crap anyway, the one on lincoln inbetween diversey and belmont is where its at... other than that: peqouds on clybourn and webster, they put caramel in the pan of the deep dish pizza, sounds weird but its one of the most delicious things on the planet... not overwhelming at all just delicious... also go to the wiener's circle after the show because thats whats happenin in chicago

i stand by john mayer and ben folds in a big way. that show will be the largest gathering of assholes with backwards hats, teenyboppers, and other assorted fools... but ive stood by them both this long, im not gonna tap out now when i love the music...

About a year ago Nels was opening for Jeff at solo shows, does anyone have recordings of this? Specifically the Mandel Hall show? I loved it but I havent found any of his work to really duplicate what he did there... edit: sorry i just realized someone posted a similar request earlier... but if anyone has that i'd still appreciate it
