  1. I have 2 extra for sunday. Section 5, 5th row, I think ( I do not have them with me but they are superb)...will check at home this afternoon. Would like to trade for the Sat show. Will check board later today...
  2. I really like that disc. "Nothing but the Wheel" is a great cover. The jive stuff is annoying and thankfully, minimal. Overall, a somber album about regrets....I agree with the ratings...Worth having...
  3. I had front row balcony seats. This was my fifth Wilco show. The set list was great but I thought the audio (mix?) was less than stellar. Very muddled sound and almost impossible to hear solos, drums, et al. I could not tell if it was louder than usual or not. I heard same complaints from others. Overall, very enjoyable but because of the sound, not as great for me as the Ryman shows....
  4. I have posted rarely and lurked often. This is very hard for me... I never thought I would follow Jeff into treatment. It was not me...could never happen to me...and yet it did. Slowly and surely, I developed a habit that I could not control... I stopped 3 weeks ago but realize I need more help and so I am going in to treatment for the next 2-3 months. Telling my family was the hardest thing I have ever done. Their faces are etched into my brain forever ... I go in tomorrow and will not really be able to see any responses, if any, from you. Here it goes: I love every Wilco album and at
  5. No dreams but I always have this fantasy that Jeff comes to the ER with appendicitis or something and after I operate on him and he recovers, I have tickets for every Ryman show in the future and I join Wilco on stage and play guitar on Kidsmoke....
  6. I like that. Very nice. Unfortunately in my circles (and plese forgive me), someone will say "Who are The Replacements? You mean the movie?" Maybe I need new friends.
  7. Does anyone else get frustrated with trying to explain Wilco? "what's their music like?" kills me. At least in my circles, few have heard about them. Of course, let me explain. I am 52 years old and until these guys came along, resigned myself to listening to music I liked from the past and new Neil Young (although he is starting to piss me off). I mention Wilco even to young folks and most of the time, I get a blank stare. There is a certain coolness with liking music that no one else likes but I prefer these guys getting their due. I remember getting excited when a new Dylan or The Who album
  8. Just got home. Others will have to tell you the set. All I can say is that it was the greatest concert I have ever seen. 2 years ago, I saw Wilco for the first time. Thought the show was spectacular, on par with shows from my younger days ( The Who, Allmans). Well, this time they blew past all that. Unbelievable energy, musicianship, great crowd, and of course, the Ryman. Jeff said it was the best place to play in the world. I will try to get some sleep tonight but will replay this night in my memories forever...
  9. I will be at the Ryman next week for the show. I am absolutely thrilled with John Doe as an opening act. He is worth a show in itself. His last album is a wonder. It should make for a rather spectacular evening.. Thoughts?
  10. I got 4 in the balcony, row 5. Any seat at the Ryman is great.

    wtf!!!!!!!!

I was able to get 4 seats in the balcony, section 10. Any seat is great at the Ryman. Similar to the seats from the 2006 show.
  12. I thought it was a great show. Firstime seeing Jeff solo. For those who were there, which song did Jeff say he would never sing again since he sang it at his mother's funeral? I could not here the original request. Thanks.
  13. I could not sign up to download the show-too many users. Is there another archive available?
