Here's my take on this new diddy. Like the name says, it's just a lead sheet, so no licks or anything like that. It's just something you can print out and hand to your buddies at the next band practice if you want to jam on this. One note about the melody lines: When chords are used, these are the string parts; Single-note melodies are Jeff's parts. Nothing confusing. So here it is, enjoy. Wow, I had never heard of it being used on an acoustic before. So what about these 'cello sounds' that Musician's Friend advertises?

I envy you greatly.... you should post some links to soundbytes of you fooling around with it. How easy is it to operate?

Haha, I haven't looked at the numbers yet, which, by the way, I thank you for taking the time to get, but I just noticed that the site that came from was the Archdiosese of St. Paul and Minnesota. Why are they teaching Social Justice and 101 Things you need to know about taxes?

I'm not really understanding what "posters" you're referring to, but I tend to trust Wikipedia and the official Wilco bootleg site a lot. And, considering I'm the one who stopped talking and you found one example, I'd have to say you're the dick, Dick.

What was the name of the Robin Hood song? I remember that got me hooked, and whenever you can get a 4 year old hooked on your music, you must be the stuff. And, sorry to offend about Ryan Adams... he just seems like jerk. You can have him if you want. I'm sure Petra's a jerk, too... but the HOTTEST JERK I'VE EVER SEEN. I wonder why Mr. Blunt didn't refer to my post before messing with my woman... I thought having something like that would make my ownership clear to the public. I guess I'll ask him before I stab him.

oooookay, chief.

No need to apologize. Listening to NPR causes brain cancer.... or at least severe boredom.

What about the movie Munich? That was a good one, huh?

Where do you get that? Honestly? I'm not saying it's not true, I'd just like to see numbers so if I'm wrong, I can change my mind. Really, I don't see a problem with an 'aristocracy' as you called it. Every country has one.

There's just the first six of 697,000 google results. I don't know where you're getting that, but I can't find anything to back it up. NO ONE MAKES FUN OF JEFF LYNNE, BUDDY.

Amen. This sounds an awful lot like the argument that a former German teacher used every day. I'm sure everyone's heard it before: "90% of the wealth is owned by 10% of the people." First off, I like to keep my money when I make it. I'm sure the 1% you're talking about, as well as the 10% I mentioned, feel the same way. For someone like myself who used to make less than three dollars an hour inserting newspapers, taxes hurt. But at the same time, I'm not going to claim that people who make more than me or own more than me are keeping me from making more money. If those people made their m

I don't think I would've let my first post ever be that one. I'd have to say that if you're looking to say Wilco has sounded commercial at any point, it would've been when they were enjoying the success of Outta site (Outta mind). And really, that's not even what matters. Jeff Tweedy said in an NPR radio interview that all the songs are attempts at hits and being recognized. So, I disagree, especially with you saying that they're watering anything down. I would be upset if the same people who listen to Fallout Boy walked up to me and asked if I had ever heard of Wilco, but not at Wilco. I

I hate my life. Not only do I tend to hate Rolling Stone, I tend to always open issues that make my day horrible. So it should've came as no surprise to find pictures of my girl, Petra Nemcova, and the biggest, wettest douche who sounds like a woman when talking and/or singing this side of the milky way, James Blunt, TOGETHER. Not only do I put this guy in the same category as craptacular and equally sucky artists like Jack Johnson, Ryan Adams, and Chris Carrabba, but now he goes and does something like this? Was wooing the hearts of fourteen year old girls across the world with the world's

You probably want to start writing it as Leroy, the way Leroy is normally written. LeRoy Bach is pronounced differently, as well as being the name of being an up and coming rapper.

Just give up. We all should just give up. Nonesuch refuses to return any of my attempts at contacting them.

what do you think is the best guitar (electric)

So essentially what you're telling me is, if I see a The Paul (seriously, how should I phrase it?), it's like the predecessor to the Les Paul faded versions that Gibson puts out now, minus the uncovered Humbuckers? Because, I played a friend's Faded, and it wasn't much nicer than my Epiphone LP Custom. If anything, it didn't have as much bass in the Neck pickup, and the bridge pickup didn't have the clarity in the high-range that mine did. Plus, the wood wasn't too nice, the neck wasn't that great, and the overall playability was just not what I expected from Gibson. I tend to forget, this was -
This is the best condenser for the money that I've ever heard. Guitar Center is running a deal for $99.00 where you get the 990, a 991 pencil condenser, and an M-Audio Preamp that serves as phantom power (which you'll need for both mics). It's a great deal, and they're great mics.

Amen. Not to cause more confusion, but, what's the main difference between a Les Paul and The Paul, aside from the latter being harder to describe in a sentence? (e.g. I've got this awesome The Paul!) -
