  1. You should be. If you guys play Montreal, you will roll over them like nobody's business. If you play Florida, you will roll over them like nobody's business. If yuo play New York, you will roll over them like nobody's business.
  2. Those movies are all awesome! I would like to add Maurice Richard/The Rocket, an awesome film.
  3. I just saw this movie last night. Was just wondering if anyone here has seen, and what they thought of it? I can't seem to get this movie out of my head. It is gorgeous and horrible at the same time...
  4. Listen, I know there are some definite jerks who cheer for the habs. For sure. But you were a Bruins fan at a Montreal game. I have been to a Habs/Bruins game in the beautiful city of Boston. (Now, I am an extremely polite person and am pretty low key). And the fans around me, were EXTREMELY hostile. I had one guy body check me in the rest room, which probably would have escalated had there not been 4 drunk guys urging him to kick my ass. I smartly walked away. So your above comments seem absurd to me.
  5. I know what you mean. I am a die hard habs fan, and there are definitely some pretty arrogant canadiens fans out there. Not all, but some. I'm surprised you are hating on the habs right now though, they have been horrible since the all star break, and most arrogant fans are pretty quiet right now. I don't have much faith in this team right now, on paper - they are a great team. But one thing after another, has caused this team to implode in the last half. If they do make the playoffs, they won't get past the first round. That being said, I like their chances against the Bruins over someone lik
  6. Actually Damon and Carlton 'lied' about that, lol. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/03/lost-exclusive.html
  7. I know what you mean. But I read an interview with Seth Gordon where he said that Billy Mitchell was actually a lot worse in real life then what ws included in the film.
  8. Wow. This is probably one of the funniest movies I have seen in the last 5 years. If only because the characters are real. Some of the lines in the movie are just unreal. I loved this movie... It reminds me of a Christopher Guest movie, except the characters are actually real, lol.
  9. Woah, woah, woah/ Into the woods is an amazing song. it's one of those things were you listen to the album for two years, and all of a sudden you go' holy crap, this song is amazing, how did i not see that before?!' at least thats how it was with me
  10. I can't wait for Beatles Rock Band!! I hope the tracks are exportable so i can add it to my 350+ song library...
  11. U2 should have retired a decade ago. Everything since Achtung baby has just gotten progessively worse. And they are still called the world's best band? gross.
  12. I don't care what anyone says, Evil Urges is awesome. Yeah it's a little all over the place, but so what? Big whoop, wanna fight about it?
  13. That's my point too. pfork sometimes seem like they just get bored with some bands after several cd's. However it could be just my own tastes that conflict with their reviews. For example, was 'Evil Urges' REALLY that bad? I don't think so....
  14. I agree. If this cd was released from some kid no one heard of from the Village, Pfork would be hyping this like crazy. Or they would completely ignore it. Either way, Pitchfork always seems to get bored of artists who have already released a couple of cds, and they can no longer manipulate hype for, lol.
  15. This line pissed me off: "Buddy Holly's "Rave On" matches up nicely with Ward's simple-is-good philosophy, and this laid-back remake is sonically detailed enough (another Deschanel guest spot) to justify itself-- it has nothing on Transfiguration's irony-free cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance", though." What the the hell? Those songs have nothing to with each other, they are completely different other then the fact that they are both covers...why compare them? ' Yeah, this song is pretty good, but it's not as good as this song' Typical shoddy writing at pitchfork. Ok enough useless rantin
  16. Well, Pitchfork gave it a mere 6.8 I guess it's time to put my money where my mouth is....
  17. If Pitchfork doesn't give 'Hold Time' at least an 8.5.....i am going to have to whup somebodys ass in the head. I'll even go one further - I'll personally take their precious little Robyn, and their hip hop messiah Lil Wayne hostage until they give Matt the credit he deserves. Seriously, what a cd. I'm not even sure one single song on it's own is particularly amazing, but as a whole, as a single work of art? Wow. I love all of M Ward's other cd's. But this one seems perfect to me. It makes me want to buy the best record player money can buy.
  18. Thanks alot, i appreciate it. I am seriously considering picking this pedal up!
  19. Can you let me know what you think of this pedal. I am currently looking for a delay pedal, and have been doing quite a bit of research on this pedal, but have yet to play it. Please let me know how you like it? I am curious to know if there is a volume decrease when the effect is on, and how it sounds with overdrive... Thanks!
  20. I like the Fender Hot Rod series personally. Simple and affordable.
  21. nothing? well here's another question: Is 600ms 'enough' delay? Will that give you just enough for slapback delay, or can that give you some spacey effects as well? i.e - pink floyd.... thanks.
