  1. By the way SarahC it was nice to meet you and your sister. Thank you so much for the ticket. If it weren't for your generosity I'd still be wandering the streets of downtown Atlanta looking for some guy in a Monsters of Folk t-shirt. Glad you got to hear "Wishful Thinking". What a great show.
  2. Yeah I figured it was a shot in the dark. Thank you just the same.
  3. I have looked everywhere and can't find this setlist. They opened for Sheryl Crow at Mud Island Ampihtheater. Any help is appreciated.
  4. Here is the setlist best I can remember: - You Are My Face - Company in my Back - IATTBYH - Pot Kettle Black - Radio Cure - Shouldn't Be Ashamed - Shot In the Arm - ALTWYS - Via Chicago - Impossible Germany - Jesus etc - Handshake Drugs - Box Full of Letters - ELT - Heavy Metal Drummer - Hummingbird Encore 1 - Late Greats - Hate It Here - Walken - ITMWLY Encore 2 - California Stars - Misunderstood - Monday - Outtasite (outta mind) - Hoodoo Voodoo Looking forward to Asheville.
  5. The Hampton Inn downtown is a nice place to stay, and it is within walking distance of the venue. The Crown Plaza is probably the most conveniently located for walking to the venue and restaurants/bars, but I have never stayed there so I can't vouch for it.
  6. The Downtown Grill and Brewery and Preservation Pub stay open until 3am. Several places in the Old City stay open until 2am. The Crown Plaza downtown is probably the most conveniently located hotel downtown. Also there is a sushi place (Nama Sushi Bar) on the same street as the venue, about 4-5 blocks away.
  7. 3. I'm thinking about Pricelining a hotel, and they ask what section of town? I have no idea!!! Here is a link to some hotels near the venue. The Hampton is the only one I have actually stayed in and it was nice. Best of luck!!!! http://www.orbitz.com/App/ViewHotelSearchR...e=interstitial#
  8. As far as record stores go, the two best record stores in terms of used vinyl in my opinion are Basement Records and Lost and Found Records. I'm not sure whether or not they are really doing anything special for Record Store Day, but if you have time they are the best place to find good vinyl in Knoxville. Disc Exchange and Cat's Music (on Kingston Pike) are both participating in the festivities of Record Store Day, so either one of those might be a good bet for the Wilco DVD.
  9. I completely agree. I have been fortunate enough to see the band 15 times in the past year and this was by far the worst crowd yet. No enthusiasm whatsoever. I just hope it doesn't affect the Bend show.
  10. About to hit the road myself. See y'all in the city!
  11. Aricandover, tongue-tied and froggie - thank you all so much for posting these songs. I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing Misunderstood!
  12. Such a tough decision, but what a way to get my brain working today. Neil Young ~ On the Beach The Band ~ The Band Van Morrison ~ Moondance My Morning Jacket ~ At Dawn Wilco ~ Being There/AGIB A random footnote - my brother recently gave me a copy of J.J. Cale's "Troubadour" on vinyl and I've been thoroughly enjoying it.
