  11. i was at all the hamptons from 87 on. i was just looking and saw they played there basically three nights every year in the 80s!! what a trip and what a great great venue. the dark star there was probably the high point. people dont realize that the help slip franklins the night before was a bust out and i almost passed out when they ripped into that. id like to talk to someone that went to this show: Bob Marley Performing Arts Center, Montego Bay, XJ (11/26/82) Sugaree New Minglewood Blues Loser Man Smart/Woman Smarter Althea Let it Grow Samson and Delilah Scarlet Begonias Fire on

  14. im sorry you believed socialism is the answer. i dont know anyone else that thinks that. i started college as a member of the young republicans. worked for a couple of campaigns even. the environmental question is what turned me around but either way the democratic party deserves another look from you. dont believe everything you read on the internet. im a DC guy that was a govt and politics major at george mason university so im gonna go ahead and say we are on an even field on that one. you should be proud of your passion, but take a second look at what the president and pelosi a
  15. sparky it would be cool if you were pro paul but you spew ten tons of shit about the president and 99 percent of it is just that
  16. ugh. im done. go vote for santorum sparky. again nothing is worse than the hipster "they are all crooked" line. at least jeff tweedy is willing to go to work for my party and that makes me proud. anyone who says they are alike and can tell me pelosi reid and carville clinton and obama are just the same as gingrich bush cheney and palin must have fell off the turnip truck
  17. wow that here comes sunshine is better than i remember and i remember it like it was the second coming of christ http://www.archive.org/details/gd92-12-06.sbd.wiley.8706.sbeok.shnf
  18. ahhh. im thinking about 1992. I dont think most of the deadheads made it to the show. Couldnt get there for the first night from Denver theres an abandoned outdoor theater here in richmond called classic ampitheatre that had a ton of great shows in the 90s but sits there unused now. it was one of the first outdoor sheds.
  19. diagree with them yes but being a DC guy i have too many friends that work for the other side to hate.
  20. :-) I was on tour brah. dreadlock rasta agreed on the compton terrace shows Shug. if i remember correctly we left denver in a blizzard and ended up in the desert. wasnt that the here comes sunshine show? the good thing (i believe) about 89 and 90 is that Garcia was sober for the first time ever. He was tan and singing great and playing great. As soon as Brent died it started to turn bad. Those Hornsby shows were good but bittersweet as hell
