no. we tried to balance the budget three seperate times in the past 2 years in a bi partisan manner. In fact i would say the president bent over backwards. we offered 3 trillion in spending cuts to 1 trillion in revenues but the tea party wouldnt let them do it. democrats are always ready to strike a deal.
