Fantastic! How did you come to be a Trotters supporter? When I got FSC on digital cable about 5 years ago, I wanted to be more than a read about games online supporter and really follow a team. I didn't want one of the big 4 (now it may be big 3!!) because most Yanks choose one of them or Barca, Real, Inter, Milan or some such. I personally think that it is too easy to support a team from afar that is always in Champions League, etc. I wanted to feel real. I liked Allardyce's style and picked Bolton. One of their games seems to be on FSC every other week. I am hooked on Bolton.

As far as where the goals will come from, they still have all of the 15 million pounds from selling Anelka. If they can stay up this year, the 'Ginger Mourinho' will have them back contending for europe next year. And thank you for the luck.

Oh shit1 I just remembered the acoustic Walken at Tweedy Raleigh. That was something special.

Prior to the album coming out I heard Walken at asheville in Oct. 05 and dug it. I heard it again in Jax on 10 March of 06 and liked it even more. Then 4 days later in Tallahassee I heard either way, Walken and The Thanks I Get. Wow! I was seriously pysched for the new album. Then August of 06 at a Tweedy show in Raleigh, I heard What Light. Damn, that was something. Let's Not get Carried Away in Huntsville in Oct. 06 i didn't care for and was happy to see it didn't survive. Tweedy again at the House of blues in NOLA had nothing new but a sweet Radio King and 3 without the PA. I had also heard a few others from boots. So by the time the album came out, i was already in love.

A point of clarification. I am not a troll. What message board troll behavior have I engaged in? I didn't come in and slag the band, I didn't toss profanities/obscenities around, I didn't engage in derogatory name-calling, etc. On the contrary, I have praised the band, talked about my history as a fan and how much they mean to me, I have spoken in civil tones - save a few times I have been spoken to in a less than civil way - even then I was far from inflammatory, I have taken part topically in a variety of threads, I have made a clear effort to learn and follow board protocol and I am not a new member. All that I can think that you refer to is I strongly disagreed with a band decision and stated my logic in a civil manner and responded when people responded to me. That should be acceptable. I honestly don't understand the venom from many of you. It seems as though the problem is yours, not mine.

I could definitely do without the Panic at the Disco song, though. Fortunately, all my CD and mp3 players have a functioning skip button.

I too am no fan of Panic At The Disco. Unfortunately, I see a couple Panic shirts daily in the hallways.

Not only are The Jam great but all things Paul Weller. The Style Council are also great, but in a different way. His solo stuff i don't care for as much. I like his ability to shift styles so well.

Is anyone here into football? Not trying to sound 'cool', I've called it that for years. It is by far my favorite sport. I played in rec league and school but I love watchung and following it. Mostly the Barclay's Premier League in England. I am a Bolton Wanderers supporter. I know, I know. We are in a relegation batle this year but we are also in the UEFA Cup round of 16!! I also love playing in the Fantasy Premier League. Just looking for a new place to discuss the sport. what the hell!

sure, just as much people are allowed to have opinions (counter or otherwise) to yours and freely let you know that. you seem offput by the need for moderation of this board and yet, seem genuinely offput in the way some folks have responded to you, enough to make an issue of it. it's kind of confusing.

I am amazed at the need, not offput by it. But your response is much better than yesterday's in the rescheduled thread when i pointed out the errors and mentioned that you are not very good at debate. You must enjoy my posts since you often respond to them.

PMs were flying yesterday (and, will probably continue to do so today ). Do you really think you were the only one getting those?
