  1. iTV, iPhone...your thoughts? More info: www.macrumorslive.com
  2. Yes, one of the best quality recordings I've heard of one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Thank you CHITAPER!
  3. Thanks, I'm just going to do some trial and error here I think. I'm only trying to do this to speed up the process...I have a lot of discs to burn and precious little time to burn them. copying them into my itunes library, making a playlist and burning it, then deleting the files and playlist from the itunes library just isn't fun anymore.
  4. Seeking some advice... How can I make an audio CD that will work in my stereo without using Itunes or toast etc... I want to burn discs using just my finder...should I just number the .aiff tracks 1, 2, 3, etc. and burn it as is? Also, can I leave the title of the track in the filename? (I'm using Mac OSX) Thanks for the help!
  5. Done. We'll see how long before someone deletes that hahaa
  6. This is awesome...thank you... I actually forgot that the rest of the world doesn't sit down and feast on turkey all night!
  7. I stand corrected. Sometimes I think I have Wilco dyslexia...anyone know else the feeling?
  8. U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E Chicago - you're in for a treat. What Light was the song dedicated to John's new baby...I think he said her name was Grace, but I could be wrong. Late Greats was dedicated to Detholtz, the openers. What an honor! I actually kind of liked them, especially because they were honest about just hyping Wilco the whole time...nice work. Best moment of the night: Tweedy goofing around and claiming that he was earning star power points for Guitar Hero! Sunken Treasure full on electric was fantastic. The new song, "I'm Gonna Shake It Off" - or whatever you want to cal
  9. What's up with Detholz...the opener...anyone know anything?
  10. Let's be honest...they asked Tweedy to do it because when it comes down to it: Tweedy is the man of the decade...not Farrar. You can't argue the fact that Tweedy will help sell more albums.
  11. Me too, although I f'n' love Son Volt.
  12. If you don't know, or missed this one...check it out. Dean Gray's 'American Edit' is Very Cool (with a capital 'V' and 'C'). Basically this guy going by the name of Dean Gray took Green Day's album 'American Idiot' and mashed it up with all kinds of great songs including U2, Johnny Cash, Travis, Oasis, and a lot more into an album called 'American Edit.' He didn't just do it, but he did a really really good job. All he asked was that listeners donate some moolah to charity. Of course, Warner Bros. shut him down. Interestingly, Billy Joe Armstrong (lead-singer of Green Day) thought the proje
  13. Yeah, DEVO is w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l... Mark Mothersbaugh was the founding member of DEVO!
  14. I will be channel surfing, frustrated at the meager options to choose from and angry any time I see a promotion for the February 7th Lost return.
  15. I have a 150 Gb Lacie external hard drive. It has done wonders for me for over a year now but yesterday took a turn for the worst. Basically, I can just tell it is on the verge of crashing - it is operating very slowly and some files have been lost. I keep all my music on it (about 100 Gb of mp3s and m4as) and I burn all my backup files of wavs and flacs onto DVDs. I'm beginning to undrestand that even firewire 800 is NOT meant as constant access to my music files - I probably shouldn't have my iTunes library linked to an external hard drive. Or can I do it (without worrying about the disc cra
  16. Edie - don't know about a recording of the show but I just noticed that the Nuci auction features an autographed poster from that show! Nuci auction for Wilco poster (New Orleans, April 21, 2005)
  17. Rolling Stone review It sounds like this was absolutely incredible, anyone go to it? Bob Mould > If Not For You Joan Osbourne > To Make You Feel My Love (she is awesome) Natalie Merchant and Phillip Glass > The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll Al Kooper & the Funky Faculty > It Take a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry Spottiswoode & His Enemies > The Times They Are A Changin' Sandra Bernhard > Like a Rolling Stone Clap Your Hands Say Yeah > Love Minus Zero/No Limit Jamie Saft Trio > Ballad of a Thin Man (instrumental) Lee Ranaldo Project > Posi
