Seriously, what happened to Craigslist as a community where people don't rip each other off? If I had extra tickets I'd give them to wheover needs them for face...just so they can ENJOY the show.

Hey thanks, that is REALLY helpful. I'm waiting to meet with the guys at the Pizzeria and I'll have a much better idea of exactly what is going to happen. I have access to multiple XL1s and GL1s and mics etc. Definitely going to try and keep it simple though... please keep your eye peeled here and I'll keep you updated as I go along!

I'm going to be filming a documentary in a Pizzeria, a very busy one (Ian's Pizza in Madison, Wisc.). I want to capture audio from multiple sources while I film. What equipment do you suggest with the following in mind: I don't have a lot of money. It will need to sync up with video captured on Mini DV. I only need to record about 2-3 simultaneous sources (ie. one at the cash register, one at the pizza-making counter).

Here is something GREAT about the mediocrity of the songs on Sunken Treasure: As someone who collects and listens intently to countless live shows, from Uncle Tupelo to Golden Smog to Tweedy to Wilco pre- and post- Jay Bennett, I must say that after listening to the free DVD downloaded tracks that I would probably prefer to listen to almost any other show I've collected on my own. I don't see Sunken Treasure as much of a "concert film" as I do a documentary... Stop Making Sense and Rust Never Sleeps are concert films, Sunken Treasure is more like Don't Look Back except in ST you can actually hear songs from beginning to end and most of what we see of the artist actually happened on stage and not behind the scenes.

I've been living in this apartment building for about 2.5 months now and I have a 7 day per week subscription to the New York Times. However, I think I have recieved my Sunday paper no more than two times!
