  1. You're right. I went back and took em after turning them down the first time. Keep refreshing the page, people. They're still there, at least for DC
  2. yeah, he's right. DC said sold out 10 times and i keep refreshing looking for different seats and they keep popping up
  3. I had the option for 2 in row M, but that's 12 rows deep, so I passed.
  4. I have a feeling that for the Bethesda show there will be plenty of prime seats during the general sale.
  5. wow, those DC ones went quick. Hopefully the venue or ticketmaster will have some good seats. After all these GA shows I've been to, it's totally not worth it sitting back a bit
  6. yuck, I got in real quick and it gave me all the way back in row M. No thanks
  7. tickets are 45 bucks to the bethesda show??? Ouch
  8. Bethesda is around an hour and a half from Richmond, maybe a little longer.
  9. I've seen Wilco 5 or 6 times and two of them were "Evenings with" and those 2 shows were BY FAR the best.
  10. Hey all, I'm looking to buy tickets for the March show in Bethesda, Maryland. Says presale tix go on sale Jan 6. Do I need to sign up for something to try to do the presale? How does it work? Thanks!
  11. Good news. I didn't know he had a new album on the way. Loved the last LP.
  12. Anyone else heard this yet? Not due til March, but leaks are floating around. What a fantastic album, I love it already. Seems like Mr Mercer found someone he really clicks with here. His vocals sounds great and the beats and production from DM are spot on. Good stuff.
  13. alright, for whatever it's worth, here's my list of favorites in no particular order: Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More Wilco - The Album The Dodos - Time To Die Fanfarlo - Reservoir St. Vincent - Actor fun. - Aim and Ignite
  14. Yeah I tend to agree. The last minute and a half of that version is great.
  15. Revolution and Day in the Life come to mind. Those would be killer.
  16. solace, when does the next Arcade Fire album drop?
  17. wayne coyne would have to disagree with you. I agree with the comment about the ACL show- one of the best TV concerts I've ever seen, translated incredibly well- most bands sound a bit flat and lack energy on TV performances. I saw them last fall, just a handful of them, when they were doing some free shows in Ohio for Obama and they were incredible. I can't imagine seeing them live with the entire ensemble.
  18. I think my 2 favorite are the Sharon and Neil Finn duet, "Little by Little" and "Bodhisattva Blues" definitely a lot of good tunes on this thing.
  19. I hate to be the negative nancy, but I think jeff's track is one of the weaker ones on the whole album. weird song. I'll have to give it plenty more listens, but don't like it much at all on the first couple listens.
  20. You probably didn't need to start this thread. Just go here-- http://tinyurl.com/kro3er
  21. whatever song is streaming here at http://wallofice.com/ sounds like it could be the makings of something really cool.

  23. cool, I will check these out. Just curious if you are just using the internal mic in the computer or if you are using an external mic. I use garageband as well, so just curious what your set up is.
