i do agree the guitar tone is a little funky. i could mess with that, and bring the piano parts up in the mix a bit.

I don't care for it that much either.

Since no one on here can come up with the right song, I'm convinced it was a local artist that no one outside of that area has ever heard of.

Yeah, I figure the person organizing this thing will just pair CD folks with CD folks, and same with sendspace. Also, ya'll think we should confer with our partner before making a mix- like taking a look at their last.fm or having them give us a few of their favorite artists? When I make a mix for someone, I try to tailor it to what I think they would enjoy.

okay, since most people want to go the mediafire/sendspace route, I'm fine with that.

ok this sorta confuses me. I know when we are in the world of mp3 and digital downloads, FLAC is far superior. But when you own a physical copy of the CD, wouldn't listening to the CD itself be far greater than ripping it into another format, then listening?

wow, this is ridiculous. this band tours all OVER the place and they tour nearly non-stop. No one should be complaining. Geez. Maybe if you live in the Florida Keys or something, you can whine. But everyone else needs to zip it.

I'm down for this. I think we should pair up though. If everyone just throws up a link, then we'll end up with people making mixes that may not ever get heard. Plus, if you pair up, then you can discuss what you liked/did not like with your partner after you swap mixes.

I've had this album for over a month and I thought You and I was really weak at first, but it grew on me a lot. Curious question for all you first time listeners? How did you take in the album? Driving in the car, sitting in the living room? Just curious. I think when it leaked I blasted it through my speakers and just laid down and closed my eyes and took it all in.

I just started listening to her about a week ago. She is fantastic and I love both albums... not sure which one I like more. "Now Now" off of Marry Me may be may favorite song though.
