    shake It Off DVD

The independent music store in my town was out of the deluxe versions on saturday... They had like 20(?) to start. so if you divide # of albums sold by days the album had been released you get... 20/-4= -5 copies sold per day!?!?! THE ALBUM IS GOING NEGATIVE PLATINUM! but seriously its pretty nice when the deluxe version of your CD sells out before the album is officially released... That's a really awkward refill request tho: "uh Hi, nonesuch, this is scotties record store, yea we need more SBS deluxe editions..." "Ummm, the album comes out 4 day's from now..." "yeeeeeaaaaaaaaa about
  7. Pitchfork is just sad that Tweedy's not addicted to painkillers and thus his music is more happy. I bet if you gave them the album with no artist attached to it, (and assuming they can't recognize tweedy's voice) they would score it higher... everyone's always hoping for another YHF, but they've been there and done that, so critics just need to get over it
  8. I got the CD at an indie shop near where I live. I had it reserved for Tuesday, but they called at about 11 today telling me they had it; and in about 10 minutes I was opening the album. I got the deluxe CD version, it's bargain for 25 bucks or something!

  12. My first show was a little more than a year , when I was 16. I went to the show with my girlfriend, at the time we had been dating for about 4 weeks. Spiders came on and two minutes later we started hooking up for the first time in our relationship... kinda corny but when your making out with your girlfriend for the first time and listening to nels go to work, theres not much that can go wrong. Later that show, during the encore Jeff started playing Hesitating Beauty. I was pretty close to the stage, it was a small club. For some reason i thought the song was Airline to Heaven (I am a big f
  13. I enjoy listening to the Pussy Pouncers on occasion
  14. I was just wondering whether anyone had purchased this and could tell me whether they found it useful. I've given up trying to listen and write out Tweedy's stuff and thought this might make my life a bit easier: http://wilco.shop.musictoday.com/Product.a...p;pc=WCAM35BOOK Thanks in advance.

    my homework.

You guys use garage band and not Sebelius or some more mainstream music software? I'm a junior in high school but i managed to persuade my music supervisor into letting me take A.P Theory this year and I'll have an independent study next year. We use Sebelius if we're going to be writing something out. I've never used garage band, but it seems a little... unprofessional for lack of a better word. The intro was neat though, i liked it.
  16. i feel that if i don't post the albums in order of release date i will be run out of this forum
  17. is this only a via chicago thing, where else is the link located?
  18. the 12 minute farty drone solo is the only real addition. That and maybe the coffee table comparison
  19. This is the rest of everybody's favorite hater, taken from wolf-notes.com "Indietastic posted a couple of tracks from Wilco
  20. Honestly I think he TRIED to hate it. I wouldn't know about wolf notes if it weren't for his headless ranting. And I wouldn't mind wilco in the dentists office... But at Dr. Oak's we just watch the news
  21. This is copy and pasted from http://www.idolator.com: "Above The Din: Will Wilco's "Blue Sky" Make Fans See Red? Every few days, new songs by a beloved artist surface on the Internet--and within hours, the Web renders its verdict. Let's see if those leaked cuts from Wilco's Sky Blue Sky are faring: - "...this is some Randy Newman horse shit. And then you've got the organs in the background that make me cringe because they remind me of Fastball, and the intermittent explosively diarrhetic guitar solos from the guy who looks like David Bowie, and you just know he's playing them with like a
