That's what I thought was going to happen before they were whacked. Why would UNIT deal with them? The doctor can drop them off on their home planet in the Tardis. They don't even have to show that, they just walk into the box. -
All this "take earplugs" talk is making me nervous. I'm going to F'ville on Friday...maybe I'll bring earplugs.

Crap, I thought it was "intensive" too!

I never get tired of that one. If you love real down in the delta blues, you're going to LOVE Blueshammer! That whole scene kills me. I think that might be one of my Top 5 favorite movies, easily top five comedies.Ghost World -
I got up early this morning to go out and buy grass...neon pink plastic grass.

That was fun. Not as good as the Christmas special was, but still great...I don't think I've ever met a Tennant episode I didn't like. Now I'm already stoked for The Waters of Mars.

I do and I am! I really shouldn't be talking about the way people say things...I'm of the "y'all" and "gonna" crowd, but that's cute, right? I think my friend who likes to "drawl" pictures and eat "punkins" is far worse than I am."ornery"A lot of folks pronounce it "ah-ner-ee."

I'm hopelessly in love with it, just keep playing it over and over again.

"Warsh" for wash, "Melk" for milk, and "Bearville" for Berryville (a town) are some I hear too. "I'm gon go to Bearvill an' get muh car's ol changed."

February - "Feburary" or "Febuary"

I'm pretty sure my little corner of the world is about a thousand times shittier than it used to be so something must have changed.

And maybe a bit of eyeliner too?I think Joe Perry looks like Mrs. Robinson (the hair). -
Yeah, got it too. I google URLs that look fishy and it was definitly some kind of dirty spam. User blocked, heart not entirely crushed that it wasn't a PM from a real person.

My library's Spring sale is later this month. My favorite part is always the bargain room where books are something like 3 for $1.50 and sold by the bag later in the sale.

Which Paul Auster books? If it's one of mine, I'll mail it to you and let you keep it! I'm always looking for good karma.A couple Paul Auster books, a book of short stories that "The Quiet Man" was based on......and I cant recall the others..... -
Pinch, poke, you owe me a Coke, Lammy.

Wendy O. Williams?

You can see that chick naked with other naked chicks if you watch The L Word, y'know.

"Oh look, she's 'stripping' to Leonard Cohen. Suh-priiiiise!" Because they just don't use "Everybody Knows" in dirty movies often enough."Exotica"...directed by Atom Egoyan.....which features a stripper who doesnt strip. Slow and contrived. My wife and I decided the only way we'd make it thru was to give it the MST3K treatment which made it much more palatable. -

I mostly found myself engaging in internal debate over the terminology. "Unpatriotic" is a horrible word to some, not an issue for others and stuff.

I haven't given the whole album a shot yet, but
is fantastic. -
I have a new nephew named James. He's a little over 24 hours old now and I'm putting a mix together for him. Taylor's "Sweet Baby James" is so perfect for the occasion, I'm tempted to just loop it over ten times and make a cd out of that! However, I'm trying to come up with some other stuff that will flow in the same vein. I've got Eef's "Little Red Dot" and Will Oldham's cover of "Just to See You Smile" as other sure bets. I'm not sure where to go from there. I'm thinking maybe some softer Beatles and Elizabeth Mitchell would fit in there. I'm also looking at Basia Bulat's "Oh My Darling." Anyone have any suggestions for more soft music for my brand new beloved? It seems there was a thread for just this sort of thing recently, but I didn't find it.

I still dig Wilco, but haven't been interested in Radiohead for ten years or so.

Lambchop, Bonnie "Prince" Billy or M Ward?

Bonnie, hands down. "I See a Darkness" if you're inclined to mope (I am) and "Lie Down in the Light" if you're the optimistic sort (I'm that too.)
