Ive been listening to Being There and A ghost is born alot I think those two albums mirrior eachother well likewise I usualy listen to summerteeth and YHF back to back

Ive read a few recent interviews that caught up to Jeff and the boys on the road where Jeff said he's been working on stuff with his labtop and that he thinks its the best stuff Wilco have done.......that got me excited ..... This is just an opinion but I really do feel if wilco were ever going to follow up an album quickly it would be after an album like sky blue sky since that was only a couple 2 week sessions and not the full year that they took to make YHF and AGIB which were oviously much more intense creative work outs This is just a revelation- Wilcos next record will be there true

I think it perfectly summarizes the end of Jeff Tweedys first era as a songwriter and if the inspration that must have been a rush to create Being There didnt come than this could have been the end and Jeff Tweedy would have been the other guy in Uncle Tupelo but destiny didnt work that way. All in all A.M is a stoner record that has moments of pure joy and pure sadness but lyricaly it sounds like all improvisation its very hilarious how few sillabouls these songs contain and even more so when compared to something like ITTBYH-before Jeff Tweedy was a poet he was a stoner sweet meleody in

I always thought it was great...the pools of noise are really fluid and it sets the tone of the album really well its teribly sad though its a legitimatly clinicaly depressed song
