Great game, great comeback.

Western Ky looks a little starstruck early on, but just down 3 after 5 mins. Hope they can settle in and play well enough to make a run at UCLA. UL looks tough so far.

WVA and Xavier at 7:10, and then WKU/UCLA and UL/UT for the second game.

I think that our local CBS station will somehow magically show both of those second games - one on the regular channel and one on the "other" channel that they somehow tuck into the digital deadspace between things on cable. It sounded complicated when someone tried to explain it, but I will be happy to just enjoy the magic of technology and partake of them both.

Doubt we'll have any upsets tonight. The UL/UT game can't be an upset, imo. Too close to call.

I read where the mayor of Louisville sent a box of Ky bourbon to the mayor of Knoxville. Said it will help soothe their "sunken spirits" when they lose. Also sent one to Chapel Hill since the UL women's team plays UNC on Saturday. Same card... gotta love this time of year.

The poster child for one hit wonders has to be The Knack's My Sharona. I mean, those guys were supposed to be bigger than The Beatles. It was nuts. For about a month, anyway...

Yeah, that's a great movie. "Inconceivable!" is still a word that in our house can only be said that one certain way (defiant, with just a little bit of spit). And will usually get the "I do not think that word means what you think that it means" Montoya response.

That part reminds me of something Jeff said in an interview where music (or art of any form) is half what the artist intended, and half what the listener/viewer interprets it as. What you as the listener does with the song is half the art. The "meaning" of a song depends half on the listener; it's half a blank canvas. I liked that part.

Also, the "sun gets passed, sea to sea" to me sounds like days / time going by.

I think we had fun with this about a year ago, but my favorite two are :

I refuse to believe that either Louisville or North Carolina are as good as their thumpings yesterday would indicate.

Another OT game... Marquette & Stanford both hanging tough.

Xavier / WVU is going to be a GREAT game next weekend.

WV playing tough in the first half. I still think they have a shot at winning this game.

I thought Clemson would advance a little more also.

I expected more upsets yesterday. Some close calls, but not many suprises at the horn (K-state notwithstanding). Maybe today... I could see a Louisville or a Vandy choking today. And Duke tomorrow. I'm counting on that one.

Ugh, I can't believe I'm pulling for Duke.

That's just wrong.

Xavier is another of those trendy picks. Would be an awesome upset.

My grad degree is from Xavier, undergrad from UK. So I (currently) have two teams in the bracket. They've never met in the tourney, in my recollection, anyway. It would be Final Four if they did this year. Seems kinda unlikely.

I hope it's good. "Parachutes" is good, and "Rush" is a great record. But that doesn't mean they have to keep making clones of the silly thing.

"Office productivity" is going to be at an all time low in this area here in about two more hours...

Arkansas and Georgia in the SEC finals... wouldn't have picked that a week ago. Especially with UGA winning twice in one day... weird tourney all around.

I thought Va Tech played a heckuva game against UNC. They deserve to get in. They can win a couple big games.

And yes, watching Duke's loss to Clemson was pure joy.
