They've been doing "She's a Jar" recently; I saw it in Kansas City. I definitely would love to see "ELT" live.

"She's a jar" was also played in Louisville this fall. It's always a good sign when the harmonica comes out...

Two years ago I got a can of "Spam Lite". I still have it on my desk, and it still has about one more year of shelf life. I find this somewhat disturbing.

The first ingredient in Spam Lite is "ham with pork" which seems a tad redundant. The second ingredient is "mechanically separated chicken". The rest are less appealing.

The only disappointing thing was that the cans don't have that little metal strip with the little key that wraps it up any more to open it. It's just a pop top. Alas.

oh-fer-three on getting 4 Ryman seats... both presales and then today on TM were zilch. will keep an eye on the board here and see how it goes. or maybe the'll swing back by Louisville or Cinci again soon...

Ryman had upstairs in the back.... at 10:03. sadness.

No luck... tried at 10, and several times since... maybe Saturday. Disappointing. The problem is that we're all spoiled (I admit it) and think that the good seats are rightfully ours... alas.

I saw where the password for the ticketmaster pre-sale is "bluesky" (not "skyblue") according to the WRLT website. Hopefully things will work out better than yesterday's pre-sale for most of us.

Nothing for me either. had about a 90 second delay on the "continue" button at the warning thingie, then none available. Today's presale is certainly not up to usual standards....

if anyone was able to get in for philly and has an extra 3 tickets they want to get rid of i am interested. thank you.

If you have not used the presale from musictoday/ticketstoday before (the one that links from wilcoworld), I would suggest that you quickly get your ID and password set up. Even go in and pretend to buy a ticket from the sales that opened at 10 so make sure that you're fully logged in. Then start pinging on the Nashville one at a couple minutes till 11 EST.

WW now shows the musictoday presale for this for Wed like the other shows, but the musictoday / wilco presale page does not have Nashville on the list yet. I would expect it will appear sometime today, and be in the presale tomorrow.

There was a good version of A Christmas Carol with George C Scott, too, as I recall. I have a 1920 printing of that book that I read every December. It's a great read. And I don't read!

I voted for the Grinch, but Charlie Brown was a close second. I'm actually a bit weary of A Christmas Story. I've seen it so much I think I could recite the whole thing from memory. It's got some great lines, but I just couldn't sit through the whole thing this year. But it does have some awesome lines, from the "deranged Easter bunny" to "Lifeboy" and all the rest.

Yeah, you and all of GA will be sudden Cat-fans... That's cool. Frankly, I'd love to set the dogs up with LSU for the SEC. After watching the LSU game yesterday I think they're a little ove . But beating UT will be a great clean up for us going into a bowl game. We need a quality W to cap off a good regular season.

Not a bad game by the Cats in GA today... just not a good enough game.
