  1. In other news, I just won 2 tickets to tomorrow night's game for being a member of the Bruins' mailing list!!!
  2. I was just in a chat with Michael Ryder on the Bruins website, he answered my question...
  3. Flukey goals in the NYR-WSH game. Congrats to Washington...meh... Carolina on the other hand... see you on Friday, go Bruins
  4. I second the motion for Mr. Lemieux to suck it.
  5. I'm pulling for the Ducks. Jumbo Joe is once again pulling a Thornton come playoff time. Sure, game 5 showed he can be productive, but I'm still not impressed. The Rangers are falling apart faster than expected. The Caps will win game 7. As for the Devils, I've got a feeling the Hurricanes may just pull the upset.
  6. Big night last night. I'm very happy to see the B's play in May. It's been a very interesting playoff season so far. I can't wait to see who makes it to round 2. Although I know one team that won't be making it...
  7. I hate the Wings simply because they win...unfair? Yes, but can you blame me? I'm very nervous/excited right now. I hope the B's can end it tonight...
  8. Congrats to the Canucks for making it to round two, let's see if the B's can join them tonight...
  9. The Blackhawks will win, and they're my favorite for the Western Conference.
  10. Hopefully this'll be my Facebook page come Thursday morning.
  11. Doc, even though I'm very happy you've chosen the Bruins for the Eastern Conference, I've got some stats for ya: -Bruins beat Chicago twice this year, combined score 7-4. -the B's shut out the Canucks in one of the best games this year 1-0. -Bruins beat Detroit 4-1 in November. -San Jose will choke long before any sort of important series... I feel very confident in Boston's ability in 7-game series'. Last night's game was amazing. The gallery gods live again in Boston. Plus, I got to meet Cam Neely before the game, and sit inside the old garden's penalty box, which was pretty cool
  12. Without Chara, Boston's D would be mediocre. He's a huge physical presence (seriously, 7 feet with skates on?!), and was the true stepping stone for the Bruins the last few seasons. As far as defense goes, he has to be the winner. Thomas and Fernandez just won the Jennings for least goals against...who do you think helped them out the most? Chara.
  13. The NHL loves Washington...Chara will probably be the Norris snub of the year. However, is Mason wins the Vezina and the Calder I will be pissed. The Calder is all his, but Thomas owns the Vezina. I'm itching for some playoff hockey. This week is moving sooo slowly.
  14. Alright folks, the most wonderful time of the year. As of 1:25 EST on Sunday, here are the matchups. The West may very well change in the next few hours, but the East is locked up. Eastern Conference Round One: Boston (1) v. Montreal (8) Washington (2) v. New York Rangers (7) New Jersey (3) v. Carolina (6) Philadelphia (4) v. Pittsburgh (5) Western Conference Round One: San Jose (1) v. St. Louis (8) Detroit (2) v. Anaheim (7) Vancouver (3) v. Columbus (6) Chicago (4) v. Calgary (5) Predictions: East -Boston in five. -New York in seven. -New Jersey in six. -Philly in seven. West -
  15. Welcome. haha. When I went up to Montreal last season, everyone was so cocky...and one guy actually picked a fight with me (funny story actually, I found myself in a hockey style street fight in the middle of the cross walk for about 10 seconds before my friend acted as the voice of reason...) This year, not a problem, everyone was nice to me even though I was in full Bruins attire. Beautiful city, shitty team. Ole.
  16. you ever touch your dog's balls? ...what? I thought we were talking about animals...
  17. I'm happy to see you've come around Canuck There's a good chance that the Bruins could clinch the conference and knock the Habs out of the playoffs when they meet up on the 9th. That would be sweet.
  18. Should we open an official NHL Playoff thread? The standings are so close in both the East and West, this postseason should be exciting. If the playoffs started today, Boston v. Montreal in round one...I have mixed feelings.
