I'm just trying to get used to the idea that the next Bruins game could be the last. Everything was set up for this team, a great regular season, first seed, first round sweep, and home ice throughout. It's hard to believe how badly we've been being outplayed. This offseason is gonna hurt unless a little Boston magic travels from Fenway to Causeway St. It isn't over. But Boston needs to get it together if they want to have a shot. One part of me is thinking, 'okay. Win one at home, play your ass off on the road, and we're back to a winner take all game'. The other part of me is thinking

Bruins faithful, Think of it this way: Carolina played their best game, while we played awfully. But they couldn't put us away in regulation. If the B's cut down on sloppy plays, focus on loosening up offensively and not blindly dumping it in, we have a very good shot of taking this series. We're down in the series by one game. Jay should be reimbursed for songs that he has a co-writing credit on if they're played live. I just always assumed he was being paid. "Performance royalty" covers radio-play as well, though I doubt there's much money for Wilco in that department.

I did enjoy having the Whalers as kid brothers down in CT to beat up on. The 'Canes are a whole different beast though. great quote from Tim Thomas after tonight's loss: "It's our first loss of the playoffs. Brown's hit was very questionable. I personally think it was a dirty hit, trying to gain some sort of momentum. Don't expect a suspension though, it's playoff hockey.
