Yeah I agree. Marmol was awesome during the season, I think maybe since this is his first preseaon, he couldve been nervous or anxious. Lou made the move, it didnt work perfectly but I think the problem was more in our hitting like someone said earlier. So now I we have to win tonight. Lilly Pad on the mound. If thats the case, I cant see a format that limits itself succeeding. Especially with porn business being so big, you have to allow it. No question. It could be the deciding factor in this war. Sony is stupid to put limits on the format. It's suicide.

I have noticed that the Bluray players are higher priced than the HD-DVD players. But also noticed a bigger Bluray DVD section at my local Best Buy though, a little bit back. Things may have changed, I dunno. How can Sony control content of everything release in bluray format? Format should be free to any company.

Ok here is the current format war. They both seem very close in quality and price. It seems to me either can win out and alot will have to do with marketing and not the specs of the technology since they are both viable hi-def formats. I think there needs to be a winner of this format war and it will be pretty much decided by the end of this year or soon afterwards. With all the sales of HD tvs and all these new HD channels popping up, HD is starting to become very affortable and what everyone wants now. I like radiohead alot and love this idea. Dont know if I wanna pay $80 for the diskbox though. I feel I can buy the vinyl and cds for cheaper if I wait. I dont care too much for the artwork and book I guess to pay the high price.

A good belgian beer is Delerium Tremens. It comes in a champagne like bottle you need to pop open. It taste great. Its kinda pricey but worth it also very high in alcohol content so watch out. It has a pink elephant on the label. Duvel is good one too. And you can try one of my fav, New Castle for a 12-pack from New England.

I would scared of the Rockies at this point, the hottest team going in. Just lucky my Cubs dont face them right off. Hopefully they cool off some by NL champ series. I originally wanted Boston to win AL, but now I want Yanks, cause I think it would be more fun to watch the Cubs beat on the Yanks.

Oceanman, why do you have so much hatred towards these things? First off, iTunes sucks, anyone using it just doesnt know what they are doing. Who cares if people trade mp3s, if they like mp3s, then let them. Mp3s have their place, why stop it? I use mp3s in my iPod but perserve lossless in my cds and HDD. If you dont want mp3s at all, just dont use it yourself. Let others do what they want. Music is music. More it spreads the better. I am all for high quality music, I am for pushing SACD and DVD-A, but I think mp3s have their place for now.

Just decided to jump into thread cause I was bored and spread my joy. But as a longtime Cubs fan, I see tons of bandwagons. I just accept them as part of winning. I dont mind most of them cause most are fairly harmless. I mostly hate the loud drunk college types that just go to party and think they are cool. I would think any city has them, right?

SHIT!!! I guess thats what we get for being the inferior league this year. TBS. Going to hit my neighborhood bar. I do enjoy the RSox and Yanks series anytime though, always root Red Sox. I do get annoyed by alot of annoying fans at the park like you mentioned especially in the bleachers, but still love going. I like John Cusack as an actor but he ruined it for me when he said he was also a White Sox fan. I just cant have that. Gimme Bill Murray anyday, or Billy Corgan.

yeah, I am a long time true Cubs fan. Not only a Cubs fan but a baseball fan. I watch the postseason every year regardless of what team makes it. How does getting excited make me a bandwagon if thats what you're saying? Bandwagon are fans that like only when winning.

Just saying whats the big deal of not having cable or sat. How is that so baffling? Unless you are so consumed by TV that not having extra channels doesnt make sense. Thats silly. And to call the cub fan haters, you would be excited too if you have been waiting so long. It just comes with the territory. But we do have alot of bandwagon fans I gotta admit.

I dont have cable. Just dont watch TV enough to pay for it. About the only time I wished I had it is Cubs games, thats when Santo fills in, but for playoffs I really would like to watch. Time to find a friend or go to the local bar. Alot of the population doesnt have Cable, especially the ones who cant afford it. If you are baffled by this, you probably need to experience more of the other sides of life.

I cannot believe they are not locally or nationally televising the CUBS games here. They seem to be on TBS or TNT only for these divisional playoffs. WTF??? Whats up with that? Dont they think Chicago fans would be interested in the most popular event of the Cubs in 4 years? Where is WGN or FOX Chicago on this? WCIU??? Someone? This better change once we get to the NL Champion games.

Yeah it seems like The Vic is the place he plays solo now. He played there earlier this year. His solo shows are really good, gotta check one out.
