I think this album will be no good. If he had made an awesome album he wouldn't be sitting around the kitchen table, moping and feeling uncomfortable, now if he was all HI FIVE DUDE and air guitar solos would bring some hope.

Have you heard the afgan whigs version of this? it was on an ep or single or something. I'd put it up there with the James Carr version which is saying alot I know. Arethas version never quite nailed it for me, seems to miss the mark emotionally.

I often wonder if they considered that too. I still think You Are My Face sounds Awkward coming after Either Way. Doesn't seem to flow.

Yeah the whole wait till I can buy a physical copy is definitely made harder by the fact that the band themselves probably couldn't give a rats arse if I had a leak or a stream before the release day. For me it's just about enjoying Wilco on my terms to quote an eminent VC philosopher. I didn't enjoy listening to Sky Blue Sky via the Wilco World stream (it kept cutting out and my headphones were only working in one ear) and I don't bother with the more nefarious methods of obtaining things online, not that I really know what nefarious means or have a problem with other people going that way.

I the undersigned Wilco fan do solemnly swear that I will not willingly listen to the next officially released record by the rock band Wilco until it's official release date. I will not read any threads with titles to the effect of it's leaked. inspired me to dig that out. Bicycle Spaniard yeah! My Morning Jacket weren't so great at the Big Day Out this year. Sound guy had the bass cranked and the vocals too low so maybe not their fault. But then they ran over time and cut into The Mint Chicks set which was killer.

I'd like to see this evolve into a Phil Colins/ In The Air Tonight type situation.

I'm surprised at all the positivity about the duet with Fiest. Doesn't she sing that annoying 1,2,3,4 song on commercials? Guess there must be more to her than that if Wilco are into it though.
