  1. I enjoy both (or all. As I believe there are way more then two) sides of wilco, it's just depends on my mood. Some of their slower folk songs are some of my favorite songs. That being said, I think they were a little over due for a record like this. Considering Tweedy was a long double album filled with mostly slower tracks, this short and more intense album feels like a nice counter.

  2. I think summerteeth has aged really poorly, this is a album of great songs, that are so much better live , that the album just feels antiquated .

For some reason the same doesn't apply to Being There or even AM. Possibly because these albums had relatively simple/yet engaging folk/pop/country songs.

I'm thinking of my new ranking...but I really got to sit on Star Wars for a little longer

  3. Wilco the album felt completely lazy and thrown together for me. I'm sure it wasn't, but it's filled with so many boring and Medicore songs. Sometimes I forget it even exists, that's how often I listen to it.

And when I do decide to listen to it again out of curiosity , I instantly remember how much I dislike it. Funny that's it's one of the higher rated wilco albums post Yankee on Pitchfork

  4. I don't really think it sounds like Any of their other records. I've given up trying to compare it.

It's still wilco, but it's also different enough to stand alone on its own, as their best records do.

  5. Since they just played Florida, I am expecting that we will get skipped this tour. Same thing happened on the Sky Blue Sky Tour...they played FL just before the album was released, and we didn't see them again until way after it's release. Bummer.

By the time they re-visit us, maybe they will have really be shredding up the new material.

  6. So what's the pitchfork prediction?

Considering they basically released a new album in promotion of their P4k set, you would hope they would be a little kinder then they have in the recent past

  7. Open iTunes.

    Unzip/open the album file

    Drag the folder into iTunes

It should automatically get added to your library

Then attach your phone/iPod and it should automatically sync

    Done

  8. Just want to say that I frequent lots of message boards. And this has got to be one of my favorites. You guys are awesome. Totally gotta meet up next solid sound. I was too shy in 2013
