  1. yeah, not worth paying the international shipping fees. I could probably wait and get it for $5 cheaper if I wanted, but I like supporting the band directly.

  2. I dig the new song...still not sure about Locater though.

It seems we are in for another short record.

Could you consider Star Wars/Schmilco a double album of sorts? Similar to Kid A/Amensiac?

  3. has anyone listened to the audio from the live show? How is the quality?

I saw pictures of the white vinyl, it looks really cool. The label blends into the white.

  4. well the "white" one is a limited pressing of 3,000. So that should probably be the one you should buy if you want something that's more of a collectors item. I think they are both 180 g, but I could be wrong.

  5. the live concert that was released as a "gift" for folks who purchased the Wilco DVD is a show from the 9:30 club in Washington. It has awesome performances of a lot of SBS, and features a brass band on a couple of tracks.

  6. Bull Moose is one of the largest independent record store chains in the country. They have locations in Maine and NH. My memory may not be clear, but they are one of the "founding" members of record store day.

  7. According to Bull Moose, the color of the vinyl is indeed White. It's the same vinyl color as Vinyl Me had. Possible the red vinyl was for UK only.

No confirmation what the "bonus live material" will be yet.

  8. I've actually seen it on Ameoba Records website as well. Not sure if they ship up north.

It appears this "Colored Vinyl Edition" is exclusive to all Indie Record Stores, so contact a store near you and see if they can order one.

There is a limited pressing of 3,000.

  9. For the folks that haven't pre-ordered Star Wars yet, it appears that Bull Moose has a colored vinyl version up for pre-sale. Says it comes with a download card with "exclusive" live material as well.

Not clear if this is the "white vinyl" that was also for sale/and sold out at Vinyl Me, but it's likely.

    It's $19.99 plus $2 media mail shipping.
