  1. i'd love them to re-do A.M as a live record. i know tweedy was kidding about B.M, but i really like a lot of that material. otherwise, a good AUD or two from any given tour is enough to keep me satiated. they don't mix it up enough for me to be a completist. i'd like them to allow sbd patches like they had a few years back, especially when they play outdoor venues where it's harder to get a good pull. again one or two a tour was plenty. for me this is the best of all worlds, since it requires minimal effort from the band.
  2. blasting fonda. needless to say, it wasnt played.
  3. i dug up a chicago zip code, and lied that i was going to the show...hope it works.
  4. he could have made up a bunch of the details, like the curtain colors, and no one could/would call him on it. can't wait for volume two.
  5. this bonus content stuff is horseshit. if it's easier to steal the content than access it, even when i've paid for it YOU FUCKED UP.

  7. that they posted this message indicates that they received at least some negative feedback. it's not unreasonable to think their label might have an intern monitor this board. obviously they feel that making that money was more important than isolating the percentage of fans who felt alienated by this move, and who's feelings won't have been ameliorated by that post.
  8. i really enjoyed interstellar space, but it was totally not what i was expecting. for starters of non-wilco nels cline i'd get mike watt's contemplating the engine room.

    starbucks

Probably because they stopped doing the arena version of box full of letters. as for the band selling records at starbucks, do they even have a choice? can't starbucks just buy a heap from the distributor w/o the band's consent? It's not like they released a version on the starbucks label. isn't starbucks among the top 5 music retailers in the US?
  10. she probably just ripped off the RS list.
  11. it's not on oink. grr. 7inch is $5 on ebay.
  12. hmm. "Sky Blue Sky," Wilco Even though Wilco have been throwing curveballs at their listeners for the better part of a decade, the new "Sky Blue Sky" might just be the band's most unexpected move yet. Dispensing with the buzzy, blurry electronics of 2002's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" and the opaque artiness of 2004's "A Ghost Is Born," Jeff Tweedy and Co. have fearlessly jumped headfirst into ... sun-dappled folk-rock. Good thing, too, because the album is a sparkling, clean-cut gem. Full of wide open spaces and lazily drifting clouds of guitar, much of "Sky Blue Sky" has a relaxed, dusky m
