For what it's worth, I'm listening to the now infamous Atlanta show(at least in the land of Wilco/Son Volt message boards and drummer blogs), and it sounds fantastic.

Great bassist. Love her harmonizing vocals on BTCD. Cute as all hell. I just don't think she's in the same league as Patterson or Cooley when it comes to writing or singing songs.

"TVA" is awesome. Has a strong Steve Earle vibe. I also like this version of "Uncle Frank" a lot. "Give me another first take boys before my life is over. Here we go!" This collection would have had me more excited if I didn't already have most of the tracks already. Love the Tom T. Hall cover of "Mama Bake a Pie (Daddy Kill a Chicken)." Their cover of "Play It All Night Long" is fucking mind-blowing. The Dylan cover is average. The rest of the disc is excellent.

They were tacked onto the end of The Search, and I didn't really pay attention to them that much. I've been on a huge Farrar/Volt kick the past six months or so, and going back and listening to them, I realized I never gave them the proper attention. I've since reordered my deluxe Search album to reflect the track sequencing of On Chant and Strum. SIDE ONE 01. The Search 02. Carnival Blues

Agreed, but Neil Young is not a "band." Also don't forget the Stills/Young Band's Long May You Run from '76.

I like all the bonus tracks with "Bicycle Hotel" being in the 'fucking amazing' category.
