Does anyone have "The Good Part", "Is that the thanks I get?", "Let's Not Get Carried Away"?? I know they have been posted a lot in the past, but all of the links have expired. Thanks!!!
  5. Yep.. You gotta get the DVD version. It's just perfect to listen to the CD on the drive home, and then pop in the DVD when you get home.. It's the iceing on the cake.
  6. http://www.blackbeardstruck.com The website is going to be getting a facelift soon, but it has all of the important info. We are kind of Southern/Rock/Country/Alternative.. A Wilco fan could definitely dig us.
  7. I lived there for two years on Boylston St. right next to Fenway Park. If you like beer, you have to do the Samual Adams Brewery tour. You can sample dozens of different flavors of Sam Adams beer.. It's great! There is also plenty of great food in Boston.. Especially Italian and seafood. My favorite Italian place is Vinny Testas. It's on Boyleston street across form the Prudential Building.
  8. Oops.. I feel like an idiot now! But thanks for pointing that out.. I have changed it on my post. I guess I got it mixed up because I listen to all of the albums together.. Like one big album.
  9. I witnessed Wilco's music for the first time when I saw them live in 1996. I thought they were great, but didn't really get into them like I should have... I only listened to them off and on for the next ten years but didn't completely fall in love with their music until early last year. I'm not exactly sure what did it, but I truly re-discovered the band when I was on a search for some new music after wearing out "My Morning Jacket" CD's. I did a Google search to find other people's opinions on Wilco's best album. No one really had a single favorite album, but a lot of people either chose
  10. This topic has probably already been posted in the past, but if anyone wants to share their first Wilco concert, post it here. My first Wilco concert was in 1996 shortly after the release of Being There. I was sixteen years old and had never heard of Wilco until this show. They were one of the headlining acts at music festival at the Greenville Braves stadium in Greenville SC (can't remember the name of the fest). There were a bunch of random bands like Corey Stevens, Government Mule, and some other band that had "Cheese" in their name (It wasn't String Cheese Incident). Wilco was by far
  11. I think it's cool to listen to the album versions of songs before the show because the live versions are always going to be different... Louder, faster, slower, etc.. It's just like with anything live.. Sporting events, etc.. A NASCAR race is boring as hell when you watch it on TV, but when you see it live, it's a competely different experience.
  12. Got ORCHCR, ROW B (Center right of stage) for the June 20th Charlotte show.. Woo hoo! And this was through ticketbastard!
  13. Went through ticket master and scored two tickets, ORCHCR row B! It's on the center, right side of the stage. I refreshed it a couple times because it kept coming back with X, Q, etc.. Then.. Score!
  14. Thanks for the replies.. I'll just make sure I'm first in line when the tickets go on sale via ticketmaster tomorrow. Looks like I found a great board!
  15. I missed the presale tickets for a show I'm going to in June. Are all of the best seats gone now??
