Wilco The Almond Brothers - 1990's era.. I know not as good as the original line-up, but still incredible The Wailers The Eagles Fugazi White Stripes - Not a huge fan, but boy do they put on a hell of a show Pixies That pretty much sums up the best shows I've been to.

The performance was excellent.. I can tell the months of touring has really polished their chops.. They were great when I saw them back in June, but they sounded just amazing on ACL.. Patiently waiting for someone to post a video of the performance... DVD iso would be ideal...

That brings back memories.. I used to do something similar with my friend when I was 14.. I would play my dads guitar and he would play a cheap starter drum set to that video.. Good times indeed...

I know, and if she does, it will be a system that will get abused even more than our current system does .. True, but she also has a pretty large disapproval rating. But it's too early to tell really.. Even though I would never vote for her, I've already accepted the fact that she very well could be the next president of the United States.. As scary as that would be.. If she does get elected, I'll just have to drink more to help ease the pain..

I have nothing against Green Day at all... Very influential rock band... I mean, yeah, I guess they did change some on the latest record.. The music did get a little more mature, but it's still that poppy power punk sound that I guess I outgrew.. So in other words, Greenday got better, but the genra stayed the same.. But your right PopTodd, it probably does have a lot to do with Billy Joe's voice..

When I was a teen, I LOVED Greenday.. But when they came out with their new record, nothing had changed about them.. They were still that cheesy "teenie bopper pop rock".. So I guess I outgrew them.. Kind of makes me feel old..

Ryan doesn't have the same magic in his music that Wilco does.. Don't get me wrong, Ryan is a brilliant artist to say the least, but I mean.. It's Wilco....

Has to be poor ticket sales.. I've been a performing musician for 10+ years and canceling a show is absolutely forbidden in the Rock N Roll hand book... If you must cancel, it can only be because of a death in the family, or a key member becomes ill to the point where they cannot sing or play their instrument.. And even then, shows can still be played because I once saw a band (shall remain unamed) that the singer had strep throat, so the band invited people from the crowd to sing.. At my office, a co-worker and I stayed after one day and completely switched two women's offices.. Everything.. Their furniture, computers, phone, pictures... Right down to the pens and paper on their desks.. Funny stuff I tell you..... We're always screwing around playing pranks, but that was probably the best one to date..

I agree that you could save up a little more and get a descent one.. I have owned a cheapy hollow body like that before and I'm sure it's made of that cheap, crumbly, partical wood stuff like most dirt cheap hollow bodies are.. And yes, it will feedback to the point where it's practicaly un-playable.. Of course I don't know these things for sure, but for a guitar that cheap, I'm probably right..

I've been pretty much everywhere in the US.. Lived in LA, Boston, NY.. Been to every major city, seen niagra falls, the grand canyon, the rockies, But have still never gone over seas.. I'd love to drink real beer in Europe.. Maybe someday..

Those are the only ones I know of including "Lets Fight".. But I didn't know they were recorded in the studio! I have the "One True Vine" studio recording and of course "Thanks I get", but are the other ones available anywhere too???

Yeah, I have only had a couple bands in my life affect me like Wilco does.. And the other bands still don't even come close.. I listen to A LOT of different music... But to me there's Wilco, and then there's everyone else..
