Newsflash ?

The tension builds, magnified by the lack of soundtrack/score. Even when I was correct in anticipating what was to happen next, it still surprised me how the events transpired. Javier Bardem is a relentless beast and could be easily placed in a top ten, if not top 5 most evil villians ever list. Tommy Lee Jones' Texas sensibility and timing is terrific. I loved the ending and thought it went well with the movie and what it was saying to me.

I had never even heard of him until ACL festival this year. We were checking into our hotel and guitars were being loaded into an SUV. He was very kind and chatted with me a little even though I guess I imposed. Made it a point to watch ACL TV and unfortunately, was not that impressed. Not bad.......... just not great. Was that Conan thing a re-run?

Seems that only current members are looking into the camera - assuming that is Glenn in the back.

Sounds odd, but I'm really looking forward to the mashed potatoes. It's like crack to me! Has anyone ever suggested compiling a VC recipe thread? Perhaps, a sticky that contains each member's best/favorite recipe? Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

I hope Neko Case isn't busy.

Absolutely Fabulous - TV Mulholland Drive - Try pinning down a back story on this one. Planet Terror/Death Proof - These didn't do well in theatres, but both are great!

This years episode about Guitar Hero was one of the funniest. My all time favorite has to be when Timmy was the lead singer of a band.

The guitarwork in Impossible Germany is proof enough for me that Nels and Pat compliment Jeff Tweedy just fine. I like the personalities - Nels appears to be off in another dimension. Intense. Some of his chops remind me of Jeff Beck. Pat Sansone has a lot of fun and if his mannerisms were getting in the way of Jeff's idea of Wilco, I'm sure he would have heard about it. His posturing on ACL was fantastic! A fitting tribute to the older bands like The Kinks.

We currently use cadaver dermis grafts to assist in Rotator Cuff surgeries. Studies indicate after the repair, the skin graft takes on the characteristics of a tendon. This approach allows hope for folks with unrepairable tears and could help them avoid the inevitable replacement of the joint in the future.

The Pre-Thanksgiving Giving-of-Thanks Thread
stooka replied to gogo's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I'd like to give thanks for the warm reception I received from the folks at VC, as I started up here just this year. Also thanks for my family and friends. Since we are attaching pix of pets, here's mine - already getting prepared for Christmas!!!! -
Thanks, those were some terrific pictures! esp. the wide angle shots from the last lot.
