Hey guys. I was wondering where is a good place to look to download live Wilco. Thanks, Jenelle

Just for the sake of comparison....What other bands either (old or current) would you think are descibed as "Undescribable" like Wilco so commonly is?

I love this album. It haunts me. Everytime it gets mentioned the songs awake in my head and get stuck there for a few hours. I know what I shall be listening to on my lunch break now. This thread has inspired me to add some of these songs to my list of songs to learn to play on guitar. Particurlary Aeroplane Over the Sea. Any suggestions other ones that are fun to play?

I really like Sky Blue Sky. I think comes from a different intention than the last few Wilco albums...in that there is little production on the record. Its literally just them sitting around with microphones. I like to imagine them in a circle in my head, around a metaphoric campfire, just playing. The cool thing about it is that they are still able to make that "Wilco sound" in a more acoustic setting. Not that there is NO production...just alot less layering then, lets say, A Ghost Is Born or Yankeel Hotel Foxtrot, which are epic masterpieces of mastering. Sort of an "I like playing music

http://www.wwoz.org/community/musiccalendar/ That site lists everything going on in NoLa. Kermitt Ruffians is playing somewhere on Thrusday. I second going down to Frenchman St. There is always someone good playing there and the street crowd is mad fun. And yeah, Soul Rebels = Amazing. Catch them if you can!!! It'll change your life.

Wilco 9 (soon 11)

I moved out to South Dakota to work as a volunteer teacher for a few years and one of my housemates turned me onto YHF. It was my first Wilco experince and I was swept away. In fact we all were and that album (and then AGIB) became center pieces of our music listening schedule. Since then I've consumed the rest of their catalouge and have gotten to see them 9 times in various places all over the country and they just get better and better. SBS spent a long time in my car stereo this summer and I just love it as well!

If anyone has any extra tickets for either of these shows please contact me at liquid.running at gmail.com. Thank you!!! Jenelle
