Possibly a hair later for the band, the doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7:30. We are going very early be be as close as possible. Thanks for the heads up on curfew. Henry

Does anyone know the curfew limitations at the Greek? Henry

Sorry, is this a coincidence?

Thanks to all, but I got bad news. Zazzle flagged the design and canceled the order, therefore it ain't gonna happen before this Saturday's show. Luckily for us my girlfriends design arrived in the mail today, so she gets to have a special shirt at least. that ones goes like this:

I figure if it is easy and seems right I will try to hand it off to Jeff, if not the busses sounds like a great idea. Thanks, Henry

Charles say OK, so here is my image. I made two shirts from Zazzle one for me to wear and one to give to Glenn, via Jeff I hope. Since they are webcasting the Berkeley show perhaps the whole thing will be broadcast LIVE! Any suggestions on getting the shirt to him. We plan on going quite early for up front and personal viewing at the Greek show, I intend just to hand it off to Jeff at an appropriate moment. Henry

LA Night one may win the prize. Oh, and perhaps there is a prize. I am making a graphic for a tee shirt I plan to give to Glenn saturday night. I asked Chaslor if I could use one of his images forthe basis, assuming I can I will post the results here and pony a up a winning tee shirt. Henry

The other night in Pomona the entire rest of the band gathered around and shook things at him like tambourines and such, prasing him as he climbed up to the throne, clearly it had been pre-ordained. Thanks for the photo

They are VERY punctual, be early

Can anyone point me to a decent or even a great photo of the Glenn Kotche ITMWLY pose? I have an art project I am trying to do before the Berkeley show this weekend. Thanks, Henry ps, I realized this is in the wrong forum, I tried to delete or move it, but could not figure out how. Sorry for that)

All in all there was a LOT much "production" than the last time I saw them (Tanglewood), which is fine, but every member had moments where there was a roadie adjusting and changing things for them. I have never seen anyone help Glenn before, but he had all kinds of support throughout the show. Those guys are getting very polished. Henry

A couple of high points on the show last night. Heading into the solo break of Impossible Germany, Jeff SG fails, Matrix the roadie comes out and there is five minute scramble of wires while they try to figure out the issue. Meanwhile Nels is building his lead into a ferocious extended play version that will make this night's IG memorable. They completely miss the rejoin where Jeff comes back in with Nells for many measures. Ultimately Matrix comes out with a BACKUP SG!, I laughed when I saw that. The crowed roared and they ended the song in fantastic manner. As a side I was almost overwh

I am going to the Pomona show tomorrow and I thought I had seen a requests form on the Wilco site in the past? But now I cannot find it, or perhaps it was never there to begin with. Anyone? ps. I have never taken photos at a show, but is it totally acceptable or based on venue or...

I have opted to see Wilco in Berkeley and Pomona while they are in California, but a good friend of mine would love to see them any night at the Wiltern in LA. If there is a single ticket out there for him, please let me know. Thanks. Henry silsurf@gmail.com

The donut shop is indeed in LA, corner of Crenshaw and Washington I believe. The black pickup truck is clearly Jeffs and it would only make sense that they would also have a chain of gas stations up their sleeves, Just in case. Henry

I was driving to work yesterday and happened by a Tweedy donut shop, had to share.

The nice person at the Greek sent me this: The Wilco show is all general admission. The pit at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley has no seats and is standing room only. Above that are sections 1-10 which are general admission as well, but is seating on concrete benches on a first come, first serve basis. The best seats are in sections 4-7 since they are more centered. Above the concrete benches is the lawn which is the highest level you can reach at the Greek. Beautiful views of the city and you can still see the artists on stage and the sound up here is still fantastic! We open the doors 1.5

I just bought some tickets for the Berkeley, CA June 27th show. There were only GA tickets available and when I looked around it seems that there are only GA tickets available? But this venue sure seems to have sections and seats and even a lawn area. Does anyone know how the seating is going to take place for this show? Thanks, henry

I was in touch with someone at their management today who said by the end of this week all the west coast dates would be posted and that there are additional shows coming for sure. (to california specifically) -silsurf

Yes, what a great night. We were there second row center. I was not planning to be at the show, but as it turned out I was going to be on vacation in Cape Cod we drove over to Tanglewood yesterday afternoon. The whole thing was magic, the setting, the weather, and of course the music. My girl friend and I had tee shirts made just for the show. Mine said WIL and hers CO in bold red colors. We certainly got the nod from most band members. The sound was a bit difficult up front, Nels was down could not hear the horns hardly at all and the encores Jeff's guitar was way too loud, but we could hav

After seeing the show in both Santa Barbara and Los Angeles recently I have been on a quest to track Jeff Tweedy's collection Audubon Birds You can track my personal journey at my blog to see why these little dudes have a significant place in my heart here! Too my knowledge, these are the four birds Jeff owns before I gave him his last birthday present (see above blog link for details) Cardi The Northern Cardinal Pecky The Red Headed Woodpecker Commie The Common Loon And one that defies classification and is either a Blue Grosbeak, a Mountain Bluebird, or an Eastern Bluebird.
