from what i heard, people standing next to whiskeygirl did the sound in brisbane out of nowhere and kept doing it. apparently jeff tried to let it pass but they kept doing it, and he went with the joke

Can someone help me here? I think I have tickets for the Melbourne show, same deal as everyone else regarding the odd woman at the Palais. Now I want Sydney tickets which I have to buy through Ticketek. Usually when I get tickets this way the event is listed prior to the selling date but when I search Wilco I don't get a match. Am I doing something wrong or do some shows just appear on the day of sale? My son will be doing the buying for me and he won't persevere, so I have to get it right. Thanks

Palaise is a big venue but if you want good seats I think you'll need to be there early. I think I might try ordering by fax (at the post office), even though I find ordering that way a bit strange. Queuing for tickets would be a good way to meet other Wilco fans though. So far I can't find any reference on the ticketmaster or ticketec (for Sydney) sites. Mende
