I would read it for the sixth time, yes. Philip Caputo's A Rumor of War is equally good.

I don't want to muck things up by throwing in this suggestion for this round, but in the future I'd be interested in trying something by Haruki Murakami. And Jane Austen is always wonderful.

They've been on the list for a few years now, I think. What I don't understand is Aurora and Orland Park. They must have changed a lot since I was last there.

I hardly think Lezak is lacking in media recognition. His leg of the 400 FR and Phelps' 100 Fly will always be the most remembered parts of the run.

Yes those will be most-remembered. But it seemed any post-race interview I saw with the relays was like "Good for you... now let's talk about Michael Phelps." The other guys had to back-burner their own contributions to acknowledge Phelps's historic quest, and it's not a one-man team, is all I'm saying.

I even saw an interview with two of the women's relay members and all they were asked is what is it like to train with Phelps. Not even a "what's it like to be on a relay with Natalie Coughlin."

I'm not aware of any rule that the hands have to touch at the same time. Is that true? Seems like for the butterfly and breaststroke it would make sense to reach with both hands, but not for the crawl or backstroke.

That is exactly it. Fly and breast turns and finishes, two hands have to touch.

I don't even pretend to understand the nuances of 4x whatever relays, but it seems that the last dude is the one who made up the most time. Did Michael Phelps really lead his team to gold?

No. It was Jason Lezak all the way, but he's not the media darling.

I've tried three or four from that series and none have impressed me.
