oooh, those are fantastic

they kinda let me down after that first record for whatever reason... the 2nd still had some amazing songs on it though (The Rat obvs). if you like that 3rd record and that sorta calypso vibe, check out White Rabbits. their album is solid, but their live show is f'n top notch (just saw them the other night).

there's maybe 2 or 3 songs tops i don't totally adore on HTTT, and of those i only outright dislike 1

loooooove HTTT. it's my 3rd fave RH record Where I End is a top 10 RH song for me and 2+2=5 into Sit Down Stand Up is bliss

dunno if i'm blown away (certainly doesn't connect with me like a few other album this year have (Bon Iver, Boxer, etc.), but i'm WAY more than satisfied with it and it certainly exceeded any expectations (granted pretty much none, as there wasn't much time to build up any)

looks pretty much similiar to me, even if it's not: i have a feeling the actual artwork will be diff anyway

it's going around some forums there was a small photo of when you order the boxset, not sure if someone dug around to find a larger one or whatnot

Weird Fishes/Arpeggi is great, but would be better separated out imo, it seems long, yet it's not. edit: good lord All I Need is certainly 100% w/o a doubt my favorite song after 1.5 listens, no question i'm a total sucker for xylophone...

after one full listen, this is the best Yorke's voice has sounded to me in YEARS... in fact i don't think his voice annoys me once on this album (ok that's probably a lie) and i can understand about 90% of the lyrics too ok, one more listen THEN bed... i swear

some stupid band edit: not sure what i think of Videotape overall... only track i'm not that crazy about on first listen, but not bad either i suppose. pretty if nothing else.

i think this is less straightforward for the most part than Thief... it's a great mix of guitar-based songs + electronic snippets Not as impressed by the studio Nude as i'd hoped... there's been some amazing live versions. House of Cards is def great... edit: only a min into Jigsaw, this is def a standout for sure

The Bends was pretty much all i listened to in 1995... it'll always be my fave of theirs. yeah the production is dated, so what, the songs are undeniably great took me a number of months to get into OKC

if you cherry pick the best songs from that and Amnesiac you have one helluva record but i'd still put a combined Kid Amnesiac below the Bends & OKC, maybe HTTT

def good, yes i'm definitely not nearly as into Radiohead as i was from '95 to '98, but HTTT got me back on board a bit. this seems like a logical progression and a good blend of traditional rock + electronic (HTTT was a bit more structured guitar rock i felt)

no tracks that have blown me away just yet, but only on All I Need... have at least liked every track so far though i dig the synth and vibe of this song so far a lot edit: might be my fave so far...

make sure it's not the fake live recordings w/ the audience cut out, i know someone who got burned by that earlier today i didn't hear much drumming yet (just drum machiens), but i'm only on track 2
